I've mentioned this before but I would like to know what people think about this. I was thinking of buying a Belichick football jersey this year instead of a player jersey (please no sweatshirt with cut sleeves jokes). I thought I'd get either a 00 or a 1 for the number, not sure yet. I just wanted to know your opinions on this and if it would be to weird to have a coach jersey?

you should just get a BB sweatshirt and cut off the sleeves.

I actually think this would be kinda weird to do. Sorry, not trying to insult you or anything. I just think it would be odd to see.

Yeah, it would be weird. Some people wear players jerseys to acknowledge their favorite player on the team AND because it's a replica of what the player wears in the game.

Putting a coach's name on a replica game jersey makes no sense to me. My $.02 worth.

Could get "88" and make sure you crumple it and never wash it.

Oh and wear baggy shorts with it.

Get a red flag for your sock and a motorola headset with a loooong wire.

yeah, I figured that's what everyone would think, I thought so myself. I just want to give credit to BB and obviously the sweatshirt thing (although funny) isn't an option. Oh well, might have to go with a Rodney jersey instead, this might be his last year. My other options are Wilfork or Seymour, only defense pretty much. Thanks for the input.

Maybe put 01 for the first championship team (or 03 or 04) maybe 07 for the next Championship team:D

Just get a blank one with no number...no name....

a TEAM jersey

Or get Belichick-Bundchen

You'll have Brady's big head and little head covered.

Do what makes you happy, man. I think it's a nice idea and you sure don't need our approval.

Depends how old you are. Anyone wearing a team jersey over 30 years old looks like he doesn't have a life.

Well, thing is deep inside I thought it would be weird to have a coach's name on a player's jersey. I just wanted to show that Belichick should get the credit too, not only the players all the time. At the same time (and people joke about this a lot) cutting off the sweatshirt sleeves would be ridiculous. I just wanted some honest opinions to help me decide.

I'm 24, so I guess it's safe, right. But I think when I'm over 30, I still see myself watching every Pats game with my jersey on (whichever it might be at the time) and having a few beers. I don't think it's that bad, people can say whatever they want, I'm 100% Patriots fan and not afraid to show it, regardless of age.

Be unique and get a Gostkowski jersey. I got mine in the mail last Thursday :rocker:

Terrible. Almost as bad as the guys who get the replicas made with THEIR name on the back. That's just deplorable.

I bought the BB sweatshirt (kept the sleeves and the hood). It ridiculously comfortable and I love it.

Curt Schilling and David Ortiz are over 30 and I've seen them in videos with Patriots jerseys, and even Schilling in a Roethlesberger jersey. They're doing OK.

wouldnt be very unique if you two showed up at the same place wearing the same jersey, would it? j/k

I say if you want a BB jersey go for it. Personally, I would go for one of the new additions, A Thomas or Welker

Get the Belichick jersey. Just don't wear it in Northern New Jersey, or else some wiseguy's relatives will come after you hard.

I wear a University of Belichick T-Shirt I got on ebay, very cool. I wear it religiously on game day with my BB hoodie, which I want to get embroidered his initials.
