Big MNF Game - Ravens at Lions 12-16-2013

Every game is now a playoff game due to the Patriots loss to the Dolphins, beginning with Ravens at Lions MNF tonight - a game both teams need to stay in the wild card hunt.

A Lions victory tonight would be huge for the Patriots. If the Ravens lose, their playoff possibilities become infinitessim if the Dolphins beat the Bills at 1:00 p.m. next Sunday - before the 4:30 p.m. kickoff of the Patriots at the Ravens.

I would go with the Lions in this one. Not that I didn't want to be the #1 seed, but the silver lining might be the Ravens excluded from the play-offs. I always see them as a dangerous get-hot team.

I'm not above seeing our favorite team back into the playoffs. Also doesn't hurt to see the Ravens playoff chances get longer.

On a big stage, I think the Ravens are more likely to excel.

I think they will win tonight, but it sure would be nice to drive a dagger in the heart of their playoff chances next week in Baltimore.

Dont think chiefs are locked in anywhere . They can lose the next 2 and drop to 6 I think or win 2 and broncos lose and they win the division. They have clinched the playoff spot for sure.

I just want a clinched playoff spot. IDC if its division or wildcard. Its almost feeling like 08 when we finished in a three way tie with miami and baltimore at 11-5 and lost all of the tie breakers.

I wouldn't categorize The Raven's chances as infinitessim with a loss tonight & a Fins win at 1 next Sunday. That would mean The Ravens would have to beat The Pats at home & The Bengals on the road and have The Jets win in Miami on the final sunday.
That's hardly infentessim. That's definitely doable.
Ravens are hard core when it's do or die time, as we've seen since '09.
The only sucky part for them is having to hope big fatty Rex can rally the troops to play "Like A Jet" (whatever tha heck that's sasposta mean) down in Miami. "Let's go get a goddamn cheeseburger"
Ravens should take care of their own business. Btw, you see The Bengals last night in Pitt? They got physically beaten up. Ravens do that typa bodily whoopin' too.
