Dez Bryant walks off the field with 1:21 remaining in Cowboys’ loss to Packers...

What a loser....when asked he said "it's got nothing to do with my team..it's my competetive nature" yeah right...

Yeah unfortunately when it comes to wide receivers great talent is seldom accompanied with great intelligence.

What a baby and a loser. You're never going far Dez, with that kind of attitude, in the NFL or in life. Crap happens. Man up and deal with it! You think your teammates didn't feel as bad as you?

Didn't Moss do something similar in Minnesota once? Maybe not 1:21 but it was before the game was over. I might be remembering incorrectly though...

No, you're right, and I think he did it during a playoff game. He was also a baby and a loser for bailing on his team...

The game was over, he didn't bail on anyone.

clearly you have never ever played any type of organized sports in life .. You just do not do that ..

Well so far, we have an example of two different people doing it, and the world didn't come to an end, the teams didn't implode, life went on as normal.

Doesn't he still have a babysitter that goes with him everywhere in real life because of his child like tendencies?

Something wrong upstairs...

this, they were kneeling on the ball, its not like the offense was coming back out on the field. I would want to walk out on that loser organization as well, they're the joke of the NFL year after year and with the talent they have it shouldn't be the case. On the other hand Im still in the Dez>McCourty boat, sorry but Dez is a HoF talent with some maturity issues, He's not the first player to be this way and he won't be the last but by all accounts he's the type of player you love to have on your team and Im sure Brady would love throwing to him. McCourty on the other hand is an undersized safety with decent ball skills but all that talk about him being an all-pro has gone out the window.

Dallas became a joke when the owner hires the OC and DC rather than the coach.

Sorry but I'm with Dez on this.

After that MASTER MEGA ULTRA CHOKE, it's better leave the field than lose your composure.

People were complaining about him a few weeks ago for that, this time he just left.

I know you stay with your teammates but it's just too many picks in the 4th quarter, Tony Romo is a joke, the Dallas cowboys is a joke on december, it doesn't change.

This guy is competitive and he wants to win badly. Dallas is simply a wrong place for him.

Adam Schefter
Cowboys WR Dez Bryant told reporters he left field early Sunday so no one would see him cry.

Dez: top 5-10 WR
McCourty: top 5-10 Safety

Tie goes to the captain over the knucklehead.

Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more with that second statement. Maybe you could direct us to something that supports that view.

Look, noone ever said Dez wasn't a great talent, but ask yourself this: when has he ever been on a top-level team? Not in Dallas and not at OK-State, that's for sure, and if you notice, both of those teams were always said to be loaded with talent. There's always been a pattern with Dez, if you look at his college and pro career: him first, then everything else. I think that its not a coincidence that he hasn't really been on a championship (or anything close to a championship) team. Maybe he'll wake up someday like Moss did and still have something left. I haven't seen anything to indicate that he is progressing toward that, this thing yesterday is the same crap he was pulling in college.

I'm fairly convinced that what the Pats look for is someone who, as Belichick says so often "loves football" and "football is important to him." With a guy like Dez, I don't see that at all. I think he loves being in the limelight and making money, and if he could do it some other way, he would leave football in a second. As I see it, the guys that fit the mold that the Pats are looking for are ones that want to be part of a team, that understand that playing a role and working within the team structure and winning int hat way is a lot more satisfying and enjoyable than losing but being on ESPN for their own individual highlight play.

As for the first statement, well, after this spring, I'm happy to see the Pats take a pass on talented guys with "maturity issues."

People who confuse fantasy football stats for a good teammate will never get it right when it comes to McCourty vs. Bryant.

Apparently he told reporters it was so no one would see him cry.

I dunno, I kind of believe the guy. I mean, Brady had a presser yesterday in which he was clearly pissed and chose not to continue. I don't fault him for that. I guess it being a presser is different though, even though the game was basically over.

Why is this worth a thread in the Patriots' forum?
