Manning to haters: "shove that one where the sun don't shine"

Gee golly Peyton, can you tone that language down for pete's sake?

Gee. I guess after playing all those years playing in a dome he wants them to stick where he can throw it without his hands getting cold.

Its not the cold with Manning, its the wind.

It was very calm in Denver yesterday and he's had success in cold weather but if the wind is blowing 20 mph, then you force him to throw inside (when he's going against the wind). Most QB's aren't going to perform their best when the wind is blowing but Manning doesn't throw a consistent spiral and doesn't power the ball so the wind is going to affect him more than some others.

After the Pats game, so many of the media jumped on the "Manning can't play in the cold" but this was lazy reporting (imagine that). And while he's had some tough games in the cold with no wind, he's also had some good ones (statistically). But get that wind blowing and now we have the element that will affect him most.

1. What about the rest of your career, bro? This undoes it all? Thanks for clearing it up... hang on, I'll spread the word.

HEY YOU GUYS, MANNING IS THE MAN IN COLD WEATHER GAMES. UNSTOPPABLE.

2. It's one game, big man. Let's see how you do in the playoffs.

He just made it clear that he's let things get under his skin.

So that was the reason for all the stat-padding?

I thought it was just Peyton being Peyton.

"Shove it... onto the trainer's face...like I did at Tennessee."

Anyone who has gone to Colorado to ski will tell you that the cold there is different than it is on the East Coast. It is a drier cold with little wind. That is why skiing is so great there.

I don't think the cold will affect him much in Denver. It will if they lose homefield and have to come to Foxboro in the playoffs (which seems less likely now that Gronk is done). I don't give him much of a chance of winning a Super Bowl this year in the swirling winds in Met Life stadium if they go.

Hey this is Pay-me-a-ton, if he wins the AFCCG; I fully expect the NFL to announce the purchase of a "temporary-inflatable dome structure" to go over the top of Met Life. :D

Don't laugh. This will now be the media narrative going forward from here on in. Now apparently he could probably play in Fairbanks. :bricks:

I liked his comment, if only because it was so much more candid than the bland stuff that we usually get from the hyper-scripted Peyton.

As for whether he actually does not consistently play his best under windy cold conditions, Peyton will have plenty of chances to prove or disprove that opinion over the next couple of months.

Personally, I think he's much more likely to put up a sub-Peyton performance in bad weather, but I'm open to being proven wrong about that.

Karma shall sting you Seyton.

2014 Broncos

1. Julius Thomas to prison
2. Eric Decker to New England on cheap revenge deal.
3. Demaryius Thomas on IR.

Then try to throw 50+ TDs 5,000+ yards you stat-padding, insecure, doofus.

Surprised he even said anything about it seeing is how he had Nantz and Simms scolding everyone during the game that have said he can't play in the cold.

And Wes Welker going on PUP with a concussion, coming back for 6 games, and then going on IR and Moreno breaking his wrist week 1. Then we are about even :rocker:

Don't forget Von Miller to IR in week 6, DRC out for the season early on. Along with both starting defensive tackles out for the season.

Big statement after beating a playoff bound Juggernaut like the almighty Titans.....:rolleyes:

The irony is that the same media which questioned manning's cold weather play gleefully reports what manning said to them after the game.

This thread is unnecessary.
