Thursday Night Football: Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Tate's a 1000 yard back if given a chance. Loved him coming out of Auburn.

You have to think whoever gets the first overall pick is taking Bridgewater. The Texans with him under centre are a TE away from an elite offense and real contenders.

Teddy Bridgewater with an electrifying 6/14 86 yards 1 TD 1 INT in the first half vs. Cincinnati. This dude is overrated. The Texans should definitely go Clowney-Watt. Clowney is the best player in the draft while Bridgewater arguably isn't in the top 10. Don't reach on a guy if you don't think he is a franchise QB.

Largest lead of the season for the jaguars...that says everything about their season....:bricks:

Cyprien/Elam/Swearinger.....

- insert sigh here

Re: Houston Jacksonville is on comedy central now

I want to see someone smash a red hot frying pan in Rich Eisen's smarmy face.

He got really full of himself over the years, didn't he? I recall when NFL Network started and he did an earnestly good job. He gradually fancied himself a celebrity sportscaster, then a celebrity. Now it's all inside jokes and gratuitous yuks.

Houston has got to find a way to thwarf the spies.

Texans could get blown out here.... against the Jags

The NFL sure knows how to schedule marquee match-ups for Thursday Night Football.

If the Texans lost this game, Kubiak might as well spend the next few days packing boxes, putting his home up for sale, updating his resume and stuff like that.

I am gaining some respect for the Jags for not going into the tank, unlike the shameful, cowardly Suck-for-Luck Colts

There's no Andrew Luck in this year's draft, and it's a new GM/HC tandem. Those things make a big difference in approach.

In the event that the Texans should lose, I'd pay cash money to see some reporter ask Smith if he thought that the Jags spied on the Texans.

you won't have to, Jacks...they are already forming a line in front of his locker

Swearinger just cost his team a 3rd down stop and then an interception on the next play :lol2:

The Texans would be better off with Al Swearingin...

Houston is not a smart team. No discipline. Spying? Really? A hot mess

The taunting call was lame. The other one happens.

I'm not a fan of adding WRs mid-season via trade, but I've coveted Cecil Shorts for a long time and it would be great if he ever became available.

Not sure what his contract looks like, but I'd give up a 3rd rounder in a heartbeat come March or April... maybe a 2nd if he's signed cheaply for a while.

Texans reminding me of the Colts "Tank for Luck" business model. They are executing the plan to a "T". The things teams can do to purposely lose football games never cease to amaze me.

Jeff Howe @jeffphowe
Woof RT @McClain_on_NFL: I'd rather watch The Nutcracker or have mine cracked than have to sit through another half like that one.
