Thursday Night Football: Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars
By: John Morgan

After some quality games in prime time the last few weeks, NFL fans get the bottom of the barrel this Thursday as the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars host the underachieving Houston Texans...

And with the first pick of the 2014 Draft, the Houston Texans select...

Has there been a more disappointing team than them this season? They should fire everyone and start over.

This might be the worst "Primetime" matchup I've ever seen.

It just dawned on me that the Texans lost Sunday because they were looking past New England to this monumental clash.

I sure hope not. I don't want to see Clowney and Watt on the same D-line.

Well that train went a few weeks ago. They might not select first but close enough to the top that they will get a TOP 5 prospect for sure.

.........Roger Goodell is drafting up a "flex Thursday scheduling plan" as we speak (ok, type)

The NFL Network got the triple crown of ugly tonight, these two teams.....

1.) Have the league's worst records
2.) Lower end of television viewership
3.) Are two of the least significant teams in terms of fantasy football (perhaps only the Jets and Browns could be considered worse)

Not knowing much about the Texans brass, I wonder if they're the type of team to grab a QB #1 overall instead. Depends on how sold they are on Case Keenum.

Would this game even be televised if it weren't a Thursday night game? I can't imagine its a sell out.

I am not even going to watch. What a disappointing Thursday night football game. I wish they would just bag the whole thing, the players and coaches hate it and it's a joke from a safety standpoint. To top it off the match ups are almost always lousy.

Aside from maybe Bridgewater, who has had a down season, this is a relatively deep class for quarterbacks where the Texans might be able to chance taking one down the line. If they draft first, they're getting Clowney. In that event, I'll be glad we don't play them next season for the sake of Brady's health.

Worst game of the week. I think the Bruins game tonight will have a higher score then Jacksonville and Houston.

Good. Because I'll be monitoring closely from my TELEVISION SET.

I don't think you'll be able to get an accurate depiction of the noise at the stadium. In the year 2013, television microphones aren't able to pick up all of the crowd noise which may make the stadium seem quieter than it is.
