Its a fact his stats prove it. How many other recievers have over 10,000yds and 100tds?

Randy as a Viking (watch particularly from 2 minutes onward his speed is incredible)

This was him in his first season as a Raider before it became apparent that they sucked and he gave up. He still had over 1000yds that season

I remember after the Colts loss someone said.

What we need is a true star reciever. Not someone that does well in the system. Not someone that Brady makes look good. A true pro bowl level reciever.

Randy Moss is that reciever. One of the best ever and we gotta take him.

Al Davis marketing is getting the word out!

good just on your very first post

Thanks for posting that. I'd almost forgotten what an as*hole he is.

No thanks.

Randy Moss trade is all over all sports website. Surprised he is keeping quiet so far.

You forgot one of the greatest plays in college football history, when he was at Marshall against Army (I was at the game at West Point... absolutely incredible):

He had a 80 yard reception later where he just outran the corner, but that one was a screen play (well, it was Pennington throwing him the ball, so maybe it was more like a hail mary) and the hurdle, stiffarm... just amazing. I was in the end zone on Marshall's side at that point.

Randy Moss is probably the most physically talented receiver to ever play the game. That is not the problem. The problem is whether he has the drive, intensity, selflessness, and focus to be part of a great team.

Have to give him his props though, despite everything the man has talent. Just outstanding.

Physically Talented? ...I'll take Jerry Rice over Moss in that catagory anyday of the week...not even close.

Rice was insanely quick and had incredible hands (as well as football smarts), but he was never the physical freak Moss is/was. That said, Rice is the best player to ever play the game, and Moss loafs alot, so smarts and attitude mean alot more in some cases.

What makes Rice better than Moss was his worth ethic, devotion to the game, and football intelligence. Jarry Rice has a legendary workout regimen. Of course he did have great fundamentals to. But he fell as far as he did in the draft because he is not very fast and doesn't have great measureables.

Moss on the other hand is very tall, very fast, has a big vertical leap, and has some of the most amazing body control I have ever seen. Of course there is more to being a great WR than being physically talented, which is why Rice is better than Moss.

Let me put it this way. If you could take the mind of Jerry Rice and out it in the body of Randy Moss you would get by far the best WR to ever play the game.

hey--worked on me--I'll trade a boxful of swatches, an authentic pair of parachute pants and a slightly used copy of 'flock of seagulls' debut album

what..doesn't everyone missed the 80's??

Deeply, life was good playing in the Alaskan drizzle...it was even pretty good during my internment in Oregon. I want Moss for all he will do to help bring back the winning ways that saw the end of the Sullivan era. Those were the good old days!
