OK, Stallworth and Moss rumors aside, I find it interesting that Curtis fired Tom Condon. I also find it interesting that Condon was one of the very few agents that had a bone against the Pats.

Could it be that Curtis firing Condon is a sign that he is planning on signing with the Pats? Especially since things have kind of petered out for him?

he fired condon after he walked out of detroit w/o a deal...so its not like he fired him because he was gonna visit here. he visited vikings and lions and no deal..

i dont really think we need curtis...i think welker/brown are similar players...we have too many slot guys, we need a deep threat, other then chad jackson who needs to learn how to play injured :D

Would Curtis add something Gaffeny, Caldwell and Wleker doesn't??
Stallworth is different than the current group (since CJ is out with an injury/has yet to establish himself) in that he is more of a deep threat than nayone on the roster..

exactly...we have enough QUICK guys...we need some SPEED....theres a big difference...CJ has both...but not like stallworth...i mean what would defenses do with a spread formation with caldwell/gaffney/welker picking their spots underneath and stallworth on the fly route, no corner in the league is as fast as stallworth (okay maybe one or two...)

Huh? Not to be negative, but I think you are ODing on Kool-Aid. :)

What would a DC do about that? Not much that they wouldn't do in any 4-wide lineup. None of those guys are outstanding. Stallworth is a solid deep threat, but that's it -- it's not like he is the only one in the NFL. DCs know what to do.

Welker is a great slot guy, but big deal.

You are acting like that lineup would re-invent the NFL offense. It wouldn't. It would just be a slightly above-average 4WR set.

Has Antonio Bryant landed anywhere yet?

If not, I bet he's the title of the next speculation thread.

F it. That would be MY wet dream. Curtis and Welker, with Gaffney and Caldwell, and CJ as the waste of space down the field guy to vacate the zones. Now THATS a WR corps I would get excited for!!!!!:rocker: :rocker: :rocker:

Curtis wants to play on west coast so far no takers out there

Hey, if everyone else can get all excited for no good reason for two POS down the feild guys, by golly I can get my woody over a WR who will actually fit in our system!

NFL Network's Adam Shefter reports that Kevin Curtis met with the Giants Wednesday, but without an agent present.

He's already made his choice for his next agent, but has to wait 5 business days to use him. Shefter reports that Curtis left big dollars on the table, but his desire to play on the West Coast precipitated his agent change. Detroit and Minnesota are believed to be the favorites for him.

Will be Interesting to see where he will sign with.

Isn't he from Texas?
