What say you?
The Colts will have a tough time @ KC and Cinc.

so, which team are you going to watch and cheer for the rest of the season? Or, is it time to start previewing the draft for you? What I say?

Win this week and NE becomes a threat for the #2 seed, lose this week and it almost certainly puts the Pats directly at the 4 seed unless the other teams suddenly get injury prone.
You DO NOT want to go to Indy in the playoffs in the early rounds, would much rather see the team play Cincy in the Divisional round should they get that far since it's tough to beat Belichick twice in the same season.
Den goes 5-1 to finish 14-2, gets the #1 seed.
Ind goes 4-2 to finish 11-5, gets the #2 seed.
NE goes 4-2 to finish 11-5, gets the #3 seed.
Cin goes 3-2 to finish 10-6, gets the #4 seed.
KC goes 5-1 to finish 14-2, gets the #5 seed.
NYJ go 3-3 to finish 8-8, gets the #6 seed.
Wildcard Round
NE waxes NYJ
KC beats Cin
Divisional Round
Den beats KC
NE beats Ind
AFCCG
NE at Den - who knows?
Right now we trail Indy due to 4-2 in the conference vs. 5-2.
But we have one more conference game, so a tie in record may well have a tie in conference record and come down to the next tiebreaker: Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games
Indy beat Denver, so we really need to do the same.
Indy lost to Miami, while we beat them once and we need to beat them again.
We lost to Cincinnati, so hopefully they do as well.
Those things help us in potential tiebreaks with Indy to get #2 rather than #3.
I say 2 or 3 seed for the pats
1 - denver
2 - pats
3 - indy
4 - cincy
5 - KC
6 - jets or miami
or
1 - denver
2 - cincy
3 - pats
4 - indy
5 - KC
6 - jets or miami
the pats will either get the bye or play a wild card game at home. I think the highest probability is that the pats don't have to face denver until the AFCC, and that every game until then is very winnable.
I like the pats chances against denver next sunday more now than I did before the panthers game. the pats killed themselves against the panthers, which is fixable, but their offense can move the ball on anyone.
look at it this way.......when it comes to points per game, every defense the pats face the rest of the regular season is worse than the pats defense.
