Is this allowed?

Thank you for all the care and work you put into this website.

This is the first place I came when I first started watching football years ago and I have not visited any site more than this one since then. Sure, there's some bickering and some problems between users, but everyone is always understanding and loving when it really matters. You've created a home for patriots fans, especially those outside of New England.

Thank you!

P.S. I'd rather donate than make a thread, but life as a college student is making gathering that much extra money a bit difficult for now.

Ian has made many updates to the site, and regularly pays money out of his own pocket to keep things going. Without him this place wouldn't exist and be the great site that it is.

As far as the donations, I hear you. I keep saying that as soon as I'm done with school I will make a nice donation, and yet somehow keep going back for more schooling

Patsfans.com allows us all to have a nice hobby following our team, having debates, and meeting great new people. Thanks again, Ian.

Yeah, but can he rush the passer?*

* I submit that he can.

It's a productive website. I'm not really worried about the other 31 websites.

I'm not sure being an Ian rump swab will save guys from being banned in the game day thread

He has a very thankless job on here and yet does so much to keep this website up and running like a well oiled machine. This is, by far, one of the best football forums on the internet and is the best Pats forum, bar none. So yeah, I echo the sentiments of the OP.

Almost without exception, this is where I logon everyday. I begin with the Boston Herald Sports. An article regarding football will have to be confirmed and analyzed here at Patsfans.com, that's just the way it is. I'm certified in Distance Education and discussion boards are a critical part of knowledge in any program. This site receives highest honors.

Ian is the mIan, there's no doubt about that. I have some serious man-love for him.

:singing: Hooray, for Ian! Hooray, at last! Hooray, for Ian he's a horse's azz! *

* = traditional football song honoring the hero of the hour :D

It is amazing to me that a man that I have never met face-to-face is able to provide my life with so much pleasure. Ian putting this all together for us as fans is incredible, people always talk about athletes giving back to the community by giving time and money well nobody gives back more to the New England Patriots community than Ian.

I also think it’s worth noting the great work the moderators do, that is a very thankless job and they all get more crap than love for doing it so I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to Ian and all of the MOD’s that make this site possible, the Patriots are a better team because of you all.

Concur with all of the above. This is a daily read for me, and I have been happy to scratch up some funds to help keep the place going. Like others, it's tough economically right now, but I too hope to be able to do more in the near future.

What i enjoy most about this site is the higher level of both commenters and, it seems, trolls. :D We get some excellent commentary here and for the most part it's clear of the really personal and adolescent cr@p I've seen on many other boards.

Thanks Ian, for this labor of love. I'd honestly be lost, Patriots-wise, without my daily PatsFans fix.

Thanks for the kind words, but I'm just a guy with a laptop and a little too much free time here and there ;)

You guys and the mods are what helps make this place tick. My job is to just try and always keep improving it and making it better for all of us since I'm a fan just like everyone else. Hopefully each thing added will be a good resource for everyone here, and I think Monday night's game day addition to the board will also be something everyone likes as well.

That's always the goal, just to take things one week at a time and keep trying to get better. As TomPatriot said, I'm not thinking about what the other 31 fan sites are doing. I'm just focused on PatsFans.com and trying to prepare for the next thing we're doing. That's what I always do. It is what it is, and that's what I'll always keep doing :D

Day by day!!!

And he is a gamer. Hasn't missed one in 10 years despite being listed on every week's Injury Report as Probable - Carpal Tunnel.

Thanks for everything, Ian.

You are the MAN *Drew Bledsoe voice*
