Adam Shein on Sirius radio today gave us his opinion as to who is the better blocker - Kyle or Daniel?..Adam firmly stated Kyle Brady is by far better at blocking assignments than Dan Graham and the Patriots have an even better replacement - Kyle is 6'6" 280 lbs I believe they said.

So some people think the blocking will even be better!..that poses even more solid pass protection for the 'Other Brady' behind center.

Maybe a 4,200 yard passing season for Brady in 2007 if he gets more time in the pocket than last year and with even better solid blocking see no reason why he won't.

Who is Adam Shein?

Can't say that I agree. Graham's blocking was, at times, spectacular. I obviously haven't caught as many Jaguar games as I have Patriots games and I'm not inclined to look for stuff like this, but I never noticed Brady's blocking.

And for a second there I thought you were referring to Tom.

The one time I saw Brady block he got called for illegal chuck.

Oh... you mean the other Brady.

Ha! Adam Schein knows nothing. I went to Syracuse with him. He is a New Yorker, probably clinging to the days when Brady was a Jet.

(He's actually an alright guy from what I remember, but definite NY bias.)

You have to understand that adam Schein hates Boston! So keep that in mind as you listen to any of his opinions on the Patriots.

The afternoon announcer on Sirius NFL radio..Maybe I spelled his name wrong?

Who cares how you spell his name? I bet you my Aunt Liz has forgot more about football than this goof will ever know.

He might hate Boston, but he is very objective on football matters. I love his work on Sirius. He is not biased. He is a big GIANTS fan. Also, he really loved the AD signing. He said that that was the perfect match.

Adam Schein is a great announcer and a very impartial one I might add.

I think Brady will be fine as a blocking TE but no way is he better than Graham.

Given the depth at TE we can afford to lose Graham, but the unit won't be better, a push if D Thimas develops, which I think he will.

I think we all have rose colored glasses when we look at Graham's blocking due to how he showed up against Peppers and other big names. But, If BB specificly picked out K. Brady, then I'm willing to bet he is good. BB's comment about how having K. Brady out there "was like having another Tackle" is impressive. Brady may be just as good of blocker or better than Graham. I'm willing to bet he'll be able to catch a ball here or there too and not drop them like Graham tended to do last season. When I reflect on Graham's role last year and our previous draft to go TE, I wonder if this was bound to happen. Yeah he had the high character and got the captain status, but he missed a few key blocks here and there and dropped his share of passes (and now he wants to have more of a role in the passing game?). I will say that Graham is a good all around TE with his abilities to block and catch, but I'm ready to move on.

I felt Graham's blocking, from the tape I watched, was suspect from his 2005 injury onwards. He had some problems.

Kyle Brady has probably been the best blocking TE in the NFL over the last decade. On that you'll get very few disagreements. He's another OT out there at the TE position not there to catch passes (he caught all of 5 passes last year I believe) but specifically to block.

As good as Graham was as a blocker he pales in comparison to Brady.

Where Graham has it all over Brady is as a threat in the passing game. When Brady is in the game no defense worries about him as a pass receiver whereas Graham is a legitimate threat that defesnes have to worry about.

Not to mention he comes from a great collegiate program. Now if only we could draft one of those LB from his old alma mater...

Schein also writes several columns on FoxSports.com. I personally am not a huge fan of his mostly because he has far too much personality on Sirius which gets grating listening to him every day. He is a Jets fan and did radio in NY before he went to Sirius. He is a guy who isn't afraid to speak his mind even when it ain't the popular opinion (one thing I do like about him).

I always thought he respected the Pats although not a fan. One team he clearly hates is the Steelers. He has trashed them for a few years now.
