He was on about twenty minutes ago. Here's the highlights.

- Said Don Davis showed him, Kyle Brady, and their wives around the stadium and offices... Morris later ran into BB who was walking his dog

- Pioli said to him that they were looking for a starting RB basically, since injuries are bound to happen

- We tried to draft him back in 2000, and also tried to sign him back in 2004 when he was a free agent

- Said Wes Welker is an outstanding guy off the field and an extremely hard worker... called him his "new teammate"

- He liked playing for Nick Saban and was disappointed, but not angry, with Saban's departure to Alabama

I'm sure somebody else must've heard this so if I forgot anything important, fill in the blanks. Have Morris, Thomas, or K. Brady been on any of the local radio shows? If so, would someone mind posting an audio feed or a recap on here? Thanks.

Umm...que?
In other words, they need a guy who can be the starting RB in case Maroney gets hurt. Can "legitimitely" be the starting RB.

Implying that he's bound to play due to unforseen circumstances (injuries), so they want the best avaliable to come in. They think he's good to start.

What kind of dog?

Wow! Breaking news!!!! BB has a dog????

BB's dog has a broken leg?? I'm sure we'll get a detailed injury update at his next press conference.

BTW, what's name should BB give his dog?

Yup. At one point he had three. They are English Retrievers and one of them ate one of BB's precious books. When a reporter asked what kind of dog it was BB said, "a dead dog."

You're all missing a very interesting part of what he said:

DON DAVIS showed them and their wives around the stadium. Despite retiring a few days ago, this indicates (very good news) he may have been hired to remain with the Pats in some sort of capacity (i.e. Woicik's assistant, etc).

He has more than one dog, so in order to make them think as a unit, none of them have names. It's a team thing.

My thoughts exactly.

I was thinking the same things when I read the post. Glad to see he might be staying around. I was thinking of Davis as a Strength and Conditioning coach when BC was filling out their new coaching staff.

Did he say anything about his substance abuse suspension last year?

What I find most interesting is that Don Davis showed them around. Seems line an odd thing for a retired player to be doing. Maybe he has a post-retirement role with the team?

"This dog hates its owner."

LMAO...

"When BB walked the dog, he refused to go seven times, and bit BB on the hand. The media is putting it down as a 'protest walk,' but the jury is out on whether BB can get the ship righted in time for his next walk this evening. As Fixit reported, 'This dog hates its owner.' "
