It's the World Series. Fenway was chanting let's go Bruins back in June. Are we so spoiled here that being in the finals is considered just another game???

It's ridiculously disrespectful to cheer for the goddamn Red Sox at the Patriots game after the Patriots just gutted out a win against a team who was kicking their ass.

But what should I expect from a fanbase that cheers a penalty on a great Troy Brown punt return because the Red Sox box score got flashed on the screen.

Now you're being ridiculous. Nobody cheered a penalty. And the cheer today was barely much of a cheer. Being at the stadium it was over almost as soon as it began. I barely heard it in our section. Plus, who cares the game was over and it was in recognition of Patriots doing their business and moving over to the next local favorite. You are being more than a bit over sensitive.

I also remember being in Houston for SB 38 and a bunch of Pats fans starting a Yankees Suck chant because some guy was wearing a Yanks cap. But they obviously weren't "real" Pats fans...

It's ridiculous to complain about this. I'd say its a safe assumption that most Pats fans are Red Sox fans and vice versa. The team being in the World Series is a big deal. Do you really not think there would be a similar chant if the Pats were in a Superbowl and somehow the Red Sox were playing a game a Fenway? They did it for the Bruins and Celtics. Stop using your personal feelings about the Red Sox as an excuse to be a buzzkill.

This was years ago. Troy Brown got a huge return called back for a penalty and the stupid Bosox crowd cheered the box score up on the ticker. Damien Woody was quoted as being really confused why the crowd had cheered that.

No big deal though. This is a region where people chant Yankees Suck at a wedding.

nobody cares go jump off a cliff what's it like to know that 90 percent of pats fans if not more are also diehard redsox fans lmao. it pisses you off and I like that. im going to the game sunday i'll make sure and start some kind of redsox chant just for you. I went to the stadium today in Foxboro. I was at the pro shop and walked around a bit. I brought my redsox hat with me and I rubbed it against the stadium and all over the proshop LOL!!
