Of course, it is only March 5th, so it will probably be totally different come draft day

1. Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell QB LSU

6. Washington Redskins - Alan Branch DT Michigan
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers(trade with Minesota Vikings) - Jamal Anderson DE Arkansas
8. Houston Texans - Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame
9. Dolphins - Amobi Okoye DT Louisville
10. Atlanta Falcons - Leon Hall CB Michigan
11. San Fransisco 49ers - Tedd Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State
12. Buffalo Bills - Dwayne Jarrett WR USC

22. Dallas Cowboys - Levi Brown OT Penn State
23. Kansas City Chiefs - Lawrence Timmons OLB Florida State
24. New England Patriots(from Seattle) - Daymieon Hughes CB California
25. Pittsburgh Steelers(trade with NY Jets) - LaRon Landry FS LSU
26. Philadelphia Eagles - David Harris ILB Michigan
27. New Orleans Saints - Chris Houston CB Arkansas
28. New England Patriots - Brandon Siler ILB Florida
29. Baltimore Ravens - Jason Blalock OG Texas
30. San Diego Chargers - Steve Smith WR USC
31. Chicago Bears - Robert Meachem WR Tennessee
32. Indianapolis Colts - John Beason OLB Miami(Fla.)

Harris goes before Poz? Well, I don't see that happening, but im not saying it wont.

Man, I would love it if Landry was still there at 24. I can't see him last outside the top 10.

I vote for Anthony Gonzalez and Michael Griffin with the first 2 picks, maybe David Harris instead of Gonzalez.

24. New England Patriots(from Seattle) - Daymieon Hughes CB California
25. Pittsburgh Steelers(trade with NY Jets) - LaRon Landry FS LSU
26. Philadelphia Eagles - David Harris ILB Michigan
27. New Orleans Saints - Chris Houston CB Arkansas
28. New England Patriots - Brandon Siler ILB Florida

This is very realistic to me.. LB/CB round 1

If landry is still there we pass on him,I don't think so.....

I just don't see Poz being an MLB, and the Eagles will have to look for a replacment for Jeramiah Trotter, who has shown his age later in the year. Harris can play the MIKE position, while Poz is probably better suited to play the SAM. They have a bright future at WIL, with Omar Gaither.

I would not even touch the rookie WR Steve Smith..What are the chances that we would have two all-pro type receivers in the league both named Steve Smith? ;)

I have Smith going to San Diego, not to the Pats. Also, he played at USC which I heard is not far from San Diego.

I didn't really mean 'we' as in the Patriots...more so as the league in general..Poor rookie Smith will have a 'name reputation to hold' ;)

However if I was to pick the team that drafts Steve Smith in the first round I gotta give the edge to the Philadelphia Eagles which really don't have super type WRs

With the WR depth in this draft I don't really see any way Steve Smith gets taken in the first.

From all indications, they will not draft a WR in round 1, unless the guy falls to them that has the name of Calvin Johnson, or Tedd Ginn Jr..

Only way Calvin Johnson falls that far down the draft is if he has one leg amputated prior to the draft...Probably would still be a first round selection, even if he hops at 4.2 in the 40 :D

Calvin looks rediculous.

He would be a good Patriot.

No way Landry falls that far, and no way the Pats pass on him if he does.

Yamon Figurs of Kansas State had the fastest time at 4.29 at the combine. Calvin Johnson if correct ran a 4.45, but he seems to catch everything in sight though.

Hughes will be lucky to get drafted by the end of the second round given his 40 time at the combine. Pats will not take him at #24. Good mock though.

ya that usually is a pretty important thing. gotta catch the ball to be a WR. Very poor mock. Landy does not fall, the Pos not even in round 1??? Siler is a reach. Smith is not a #1 talent. No way.

If Landry falls to 16 the Pats will likely trade up to get him, let alone leaving him on the board at 24.

24. New England Patriots(from Seattle) - Daymieon Hughes CB California
25. Pittsburgh Steelers(trade with NY Jets) - LaRon Landry FS LSU

No value for either pick in the first round. I would pick LaRon Landry in a heartbeat. But he will be long gone. He is now a top 10 pick. David Harris is a major reach at 26 by Iggles. Would pick Michael Griffin.

At 28, Siler is a reach. Would prefer a CB like Ross or McCauley.
