Sirius NFL Radio just announced Green is in Houston and is about to sign the offer that's on the table, terms undisclosed.

I think the jesters either sign Dillion or try to move up to get a RB

i guess they realized Peterson probably wont fall to them
-Dayne is gone
-Domanick Davis(Domanick Williams now) is coming back from injuries and he was a pretty good back who was great in all purpose yards (like Barber/Westbrook)

Interesting, now that they're out of the running for Adrian Peterson (or so it would seem), does this mean that Houston is a likely landing spot for Quinn?

I'd rather see Quinn to Houston than to Miami...

Interesting,I wonder how this changes the draft:confused:

is domanick davis/williams under contract with the texans still, and now is he likely to get cut? im not going to say i think the pats should sign him but maybe it wouldnt hurt to invite him to training camp to see if he has anything left, i think part of the reason they didnt draft reggie bush was because of how much they liked him, obviously a torn acl can change alot very quickly

he got an extension if i remember correctly a few years back. hes under contract and idk what they might do with him. hes had a bad knee for more than year and its been bugigng him so it is a serious issue

at least the broncos didn't get him

um ... Peterson = top 5. Hes going #3 to Cleveland

The word from Adam Schefter is that the Jets are looking to trade Vilma and picks to the Lions for the 2nd pick so they can grab Peterson.

That would be a hellacious deal to go from #25 to #2. Vilma, the #25 pick and probably more.

All I know is that I don't want the Jets having the #2 pick. But it would also be nice to see them trade away their entire draft.

Other AFCE news is that Denver, New York Jets and the New York Giants have all shown interest in Willis McGahee. I hope he goes to the Giants and out of the AFCE.

I'm fine with them getting Peterson, or whoever, at the price it would cost them. They aren't good enough to be able to throw 2,3,4 good players/draft picks for one guy.

Yeah I agree with you on that one. I still don't see the Jets doing what they did last year. I'm still not sold on old noodle arm Pennington, the guy can't throw the ball 40 yards.

I think Cleveland may draft him, but they could be thinking, about durability issues if he falls to them. Then again, Ahamd Green has durability issues as well. In my mind, the guy the Texans should target is Levi Brown OT Penn State. This team desperately needs help all over that Offensive Line. But, I do believ Quinn will be the guy, but he is not a great scrambler, so I wonder how long he'll be in the league, if the Texans can't correct that OLine?
