Hand over the bucket....

Dysfunctional is the only word I can fathom for today's performance. Whilst the decision to penalise the Patriots on the Jets final drive is aggravating, the Patriots lost this game several times over in the 2nd half.

Offense continues to suck and cannot stay on the field. Brady has ONE TD pass in three games and was badly outplayed by Smith. Thompkins was invisible and Doposon apparently is still running the incorrect routes.

Offense line was awful in the 3rd where the meltdown started.

Unfortunately the special team not knowing the rules of the game ended up causing a loss.

So now we know the reason brady has relied so much on the short passing game. Tom brady is not an accurate deep ball thrower.

Can't convert third downs, can't win. One for twelve.

That they are 5-2 despite their third down problems is miraculous, but they need to clean it up.

No excuses, no blaming. The team that made the most plays won today.

New York was the better team on this day. The Patriots had their chances. Time to move on to Miami.

Someone needs to teach this team to hold on to leads. It's been a major problem for us.... The inability to close games is just downright atrocious.

tom - put some f'in arc on the ball

Outplayed on both sides of the ball in the second half. Gronkowski isn't a quick fix to this offense. Needs a lot of work.

Defense is obviously missing their three best players. Going to be a long season and a short (if at all) postseason if they don't step up.

Only Week 7. Lots of time to improve.

On three consecutive plays today Brady fumbled, fumbled, and then threw a pick six to the JETS.

This guy is not even close to being the same QB who hasn't won a Superbowl in a decade. He has gotten much worse.

He was the NFL's #23 rated QB before today's debacle 2013 NFL Player Passing Stats - National Football League - ESPN

He will be much lower after this game.

No correct in its entirety. Yes, the better team won, but you can't compare the Pats' first half vs. the second. It was like watching two different teams.

I wouldn't get carried away that much. Let's not forget who he's got to play with....

What the heck happened to the no huddle- it was working in the first half- a non factor in the second--Play calling is suspect to say the least

Force the ball to Gronk much?

Brady seemed like he had his blinders on all game for anyone but Gronk. For me it was reminiscent of the Randy Moss days. I also noticed quite a few bad outside throws. KT and Dobson have been getting better and better. Dobson got some looks but KT didn't. Also, maybe the deep ball just isn't in Brady's best interests at this point in his career.

In all my years of watching football, I've never seen that call. I didn't even know it existed.

Not only was it a bizarre call, but pushing a player upfield had zero effect on that play.

My only thought is that a referee's call should never dictate the outcome of a game, but this one did.

Brady overthrowing sure fire deep ball touchdowns is hurting the team.

Brady's long ball has been bad for a while now. Moss made a lot of catches he had no business making. I blame this loss on Brady. The WRs are what they are.
That Brady contract extension would definitely bite the patriots because I don't even see 2 more good years in him. He'll soon be too one dimensional and predictable.

Brady locked on gronk. It's plain and simple. I hope all week everytime they look at the tape, bb and the rooks say, I was open when you threw to gronk. Brady looked entirely different. Did he forget how we won last week? Spread the ball around.

Although he gave up three catches, Logan Ryan's coverage was excellent today. He just lost out to some excellent catches.

The Jets, aside from the pick six, played an almost mistake free game. Have to tip your hat to them. Antonio Allen had a really good game and Mohammed Wilkerson is just wow!

OL
McDaniels
Brady
Boger

That's all I have for now :bricks:
