shanahan turned on plummer like he was the source of all the team's problems. he chewed him out on the sidelines for bad plays that weren't his fault. he didn't have the decency to tell him he'd lost his job to cutler. he made it clear he would never be the starter again in denver, no matter what happened. he tries trading him to a team where he won't even be a starter. shanahan made it real personal for some reason. is this something with plummer or is shanahan starting to lose it? methinks the latter. i'm not like some huge plummer fan, but i think it's wrong the way shanahan went out of his to treat jake like garbage.

enough pollution

knock it off

why would he like plummer? he gets in trouble driving around in his honda element, is caught on the camera flipping the home crowd off, there is a reason why they traded up to draft cutler when they did, they didnt think the porn stache would take them to the next level:rocker:

because plummer sucks.....

they wouldn't have gone anywhere with him last season had they stuck with him, he crumbles under pressure, it's proven fact.

he beats the pats in the playoffs. remember? but again question is why the vindictiveness from shanahan?

I lived in denverland for 10 years so i know a little.
Nobody if football has a bigger ego than shanahan
who cares

does this mean he pulls the same crap on ****ler if they dont go anywhere with him too?

I actually think Plummer would have eventually ended up as QB for the Fuccaneers.

Why can't a coach decide to go with a younger better quarterback? Why can't a coach decide to trade a backup who's making too much money and wants to start?

Why can't a 33 year-old QB who wants to retire keep it a secret in order to get cut (and keep his signing bonus)?

People are making mountains out of mole hills.

I see nothing wrong by either party.

Shanahan rescued Plummer from the desert and gave him a truckload of money to experience playoff football for a few years. There's no problem with that.

You mean if Cutler stinks, Shanahan would go with another QB? Yeah, you're right. Why kind of idiotic coach would do that?

Nope! I remember an offense that couldn't move the ball against the Pats defense to save their lives. What beat the Pats was an INT returned for a TD and a bunch of fumbles that kept giving them a short field in which they needed help from the refs to get in the end zone.

They had one drive of 50+ yards and I believe it ended in a punt. Edit: it was 60 yards and ended on downs.

So forgive me and most Pats fans that watched that game for not remembering it that way.

This is no shocker....it's not just plummer....shanny is a d*ck to everyone!!!

I don't get it....why are some of you so upset that Shannahan is acting like a duck to Plummer? What's the big deal.

How do you act like a duck anyway....really.

uhhm i believe the original poster was not saying shanahan was acting like a duck man. jeez, get with the program.

well, back to the original point of this thread, can someone please tell me why shanahan is acting lick such as deck? Why is he being such a deck to his former QB?

;)

I don't think he meant 'deck' or 'duck' I think he meant 'Why Is Shanahan acting like a 'dock' to Plummer' - as in docking his pay because he could not get the job done? - Thats what he meant

as a pats fan you should care if one of your main nemisis's head coaches is losing his marbles

OK, first a "Jets fans s__k" post, now a post about the Shanny/Plummer relationship?

Could you advertise your trollhood more blatantly?

Begone! The stench of your slime is  !
