Shanahan rescued Plummer from the desert and gave him a truckload of money to experience playoff football for a few years. There's no problem with that.

Nope! I remember an offense that couldn't move the ball against the Pats defense to save their lives. What beat the Pats was an INT returned for a TD and a bunch of fumbles that kept giving them a short field in which they needed help from the refs to get in the end zone.

They had one drive of 50+ yards and I believe it ended in a punt. Edit: it was 60 yards and ended on downs.

So forgive me and most Pats fans that watched that game for not remembering it that way.

I don't think he meant 'deck' or 'duck' I think he meant 'Why Is Shanahan acting like a 'dock' to Plummer' - as in docking his pay because he could not get the job done? - Thats what he meant
