If for some reason Miami matches it, which is very unlikley if the reports are true... Do we offer say a Donte Stallworth those kind of numbers??? Or go in another direction...

Don't worry, they wont.

Holy crap i hope they match.

That would be absolutely hilarious.

And it would hurt them bigtime.

Go ahead and match it you morons.

Dolphins are crappy animals anyways, what a joke. They are like midget whales but without the sense of pride and authority.

They suck enough. They will problably lose out on Porter too. They are trading away players, cutting everyone and not signing anybody. I would feel pity for them but their fans are such a bunch of ass holes and idiots(visit finheaven) I just couldnt do that.

Keegs, you know how to hit a team where it hurts.

They WILL NOT MATCH. I live in So. FLA and all they're talking about around here is how "Cam Cam" (I had to find the gayest nickname for him and that's the best I could do) and Huizenga are completely gutting the team for draft picks this year and in later years. They won't match the offer because Miami wants to build it's team through the draft (pretty good chance they could end up with Brady Quinn and that's a good start). They're also shopping around McMichael and could end up with a 1st to 2nd rounder for him. Welker is a Patriot and he is now one of my favorite Patriots.

I guess I look at it a different way. I hate the Dolphins as much as the next guy, but they do need to clean house. They have a rotten team and are pinned close to the salary cap. How else do you improve the team in the long run unless you start getting rid of overpaid dead wood? Sometimes a team needs to get worse so it can get better. IMO that is where the Phins are. They have a very aged team and need to stop being "competitive" just to look good so they can figure out how to undo the mess of Saban. Saban was their shot at winning with the old team. It didn't work. Get some salary cap room by making some sacrifices and rebuild the team. They have a good RB to build on. They need a QB, WR, Oline. The defense must be infused with yout through a quality draft. IMO that is why they are cleaning house. Get those picks over the next few years. Just my 2cents

Yet we killed the Pats and we seem to beat them at least once a year.... this year with Joey Harrington, and the Pats are taking the players from Miami, cause they "suck", well I guess the Pats suck now! No one is looking at you for a source of knowledble football moves, so who cares what you think the Fins should or shouldn't be doing. BTW, genius....what's the best player Miami has let go so far?? Welker? Our 3rd WR? You're clueless.

Just because the team is bad doesn't mean they don't have a few good players.

I love it when Dolphin fans talk about how they "KILLED DA PATZ". You deserve a nice pat on the back for that. However, the Dolphins didn't kill the Pats, Jason Taylor killed the Pats. And so what if you did? The hell have you guys done in the past, oh I don't know, 34 years?

I'm in the minority on this one. While I understand the logic of brining in a WR who can contribute right away and I do like him, I don't want to see us give up a second rounder. I hope they do match, but I don't think it's going to happen. If I were the Fins I'd be happy.

Dolphins are a noble animal with a history of helping sailors in trouble and have the common sense to puke if somebody tried to dress them in aqua and orange. Don't blame the Dolphins for having their name co-opted by a team that's fashion sense is derived from the eighty year old ladies that make up the majority of that state.

I hate Dolphins. I think their the most overrated animal.

Dolphins have historically been known as cowardly animals that will sell out their fellow dolphins in a heartbeat for a piece of crab. Also, they all look the same. Dolphins are the most unorginal animals on the planet. Rats vary in appearance more than Dolphins. Also, Rats have far better personalities and know where they stand. They know they are Rats. Dolphins act like they are better than everyone else when they really aren't. They are the Jeff George of sea creatures. Rats know where they stand. Dolphins are posers.

Dolphins are sacks of trash.

People think Dolphins are so freindly and gentle but the bastards can actually be really vicious.

Yeah just like how people thought Jeff George was friendly.

Dolphins make me sick. They are truly disgusting animals. Frickin giant noses and 400,000 unneccessary teeth.

I agree, it is no different than what Piolichick did int he 2000 season. They cleaned house after the Grier/Carroll regime and suffered through it the next year at 5-11. The drafted Seywmour and as we all know the rest is history. Teams realize the the Redskins approach to getting better does not work, things sometimes have to get worse before they get better.
