1(24) OLB Jarvis Moss - Florida yes
1(28) ILB Paul Posluszny - Penn St yes!
2(60) OT Ryan Harris - Notre Dame not a need, but I like the thinking
3(92) CB David Irons - Auburn a good value spot
4(124) WR David Clowney - VT not my favorite pick, but it'll do
6(166) OC Kyle Young - Fresno are you kidding me... a steal in the 6th!
6(188) RB Brandon Jackson - Nebraska nice pick this deep
7(220) DL Matt Toeniana - Oregon dont know the kid, but his side is suitable to a DE role in our 3-4

Other than a slight over-emphasis on the OL, which I dont see as neccessary, I think this guy has nailed something about the way the Pats wants to draft. I could hardly have stacked things better.

The more seven round mocks that I read, the more I'm convinced that this draft class has a very strong middle tier, which runs from the mid-20s and last all the way to the early third round. Players like Lamarr Woodley, Tim Crowder and Stewart Bradley are going in the late 2nd, early 3rd... any of them have 1st round potential. Dan Bazuin doesn't come off the board until #98 in the 4th... and yet, there are no obvious screwups in the picks ahead of him.

With the A.Thomas signing. I don't think we take two olb's in round 1.
I'm pretty sure we'll draft one db. Some of his rankings are a little dated.
D.Hughes over C.Houston? No. Houston will be gone before we pick at 24.
I think Landry and Nelson will be gone. I'm not sure we are looking at that
edge pass-rusher anymore. But, I can live with that. Vrabel and Colvin are getting older. That would mean A.Thomas stays inside. Then we don't need an ilb. Hence, not two lb's in round 1. I think Revis will be gone too. I believe our choices at 24 will be;

CB's - A.Ross or M.McCauley
S's - B.Meriweather or M.Griffin
ilb's - P.Posluszny or D.Harris
olb's - J.Moss,A.Spencer,V.Abiamiri

1(24) OLB Jarvis Moss - Florida yesBad fit.
1(28) ILB Paul Posluszny - Penn St yes!Bad fit
2(60) OT Ryan Harris - Notre Dame Don't think he's that good
3(92) CB David Irons - Auburn a good value spotAgreed, I'd like him here
4(124) WR David Clowney - VT not my favorite pick, but it'll doI like others much better here, but OK
6(166) OC Kyle Young - Fresno are you kidding me... a steal in the 6th!Young's stock is so low right now it's doubtful he'll be drafted
6(188) RB Brandon Jackson - Nebraska nice pick this deepAgreed
7(220) DL Matt Toeniana - Oregon dont know the kid, but his side is suitable to a DE role in our 3-4Not a very productive player, but this late, who cares.

I will be extremely disappointed with that draft.

I'd much rather see:
OLB Spencer
WR Gonzalez
(2nd rounder probably gone for Welker, but I'd draft ILB Harris, which would change DeOssie to QB Beck below)
CB Irons
G Alleman
ILB DeOssie
S Sharp
RB Wolfe

To each his own, I guess. I cannot wait until the draft.

I agre with your first 3. I would want Stone for a safety. The kid has everything physically that you want and a year under Rodney would make him a very good pick.

I would've gone

1. Michael Griffin
1. Chris Houston
2. Brian Leonard
3. Jason Hill
4. Trent Edwards
6. Zak Deossie
6. Quincy Black
7. Antwan Barnes

Hear, hear. I don't think I see a single pick that I like, other than perhaps Kyle Young.

24 WR Anthony Gonzalez
28 FS Brandon Meriweather
60 ILB David Harris
92 OLB Dan Bazuin
124 G Andy Alleman
166 DT Louis Leonard
188 QB Jordan Palmer
220 RB Chris Henry (!!!!!!)

Moss tanked it at the combine with only 16 lifts with 225 lbs. For comparison Brady Quinn lifted it 26 times.

I love Bazuin, but Meriweather does nothing for me.
24 seems too high for Gonzalez, to me. I'd rather have Moss, regardless of how many reps he did or didn't do.
