NO VISITS, BUT INTEREST IN STALLWORTH

A league source tells us that, although no visits have been arranged for receiver Donte' Stallworth, several teams are interested.

The problem, as we understand it, is that the interested teams are at a level well below Stallworth's expectations. And there likely won't be any visits until someone gets closer to Stallworth's price -- or Stallworth's price comes down.

The Eagles remain in the hunt for Stallworth's services. Now that Stallworth has made it to free agency, the Eagles won't be required to upgrade the fourth-round pick that was sent to the Saints as part of the trade. If Stallworth had been re-signed before free agency, the Eagles would have owed New Orleans a third-round pick.

I wonder what his "price" could be? It must be extremely high because I thought that he would have been one of the first WRs to get signed.

Anyone who's agent is Drew Rodenhaus should be forced to wear scarlet letter. lol.

Can the Pats still afford to get Donte, with all the signings they made today, and perhaps the impending arrival of Welker, do we even want him? Personally a buddy of mine at school is a big Eagles fan and nothing would make me happier to see his favourite player in the meadowlands.

PS Im new here, been paying attention to these boards for a long time, finally decided to join on this very memorable day

Why would you want him in the Meadowla....Yeah, the gints can have him. Welcome to the board. No, he is not a player that fits the scheme and the team. Not that theres anything wrong with him....
