you can delete it yourself, by going edit on your original post, go advanced, and then hit the delete post option. And he was talking about #28 overall, 1st round.

YES

hes been released

Just wondering but since he 'retired' before the end of his contract, couldn't the Pats go after a prorated portion of his signing bonus? I know it wouldn't look good from a PR point of view but I wonder if there wasn't a sub rosa agreement that the Pats would release him and not pursue recovering any portion of his bonus if he a) didn't sign with an AFC East team or b) didn't sign with Denver......
I don't know if it would violate the CBA (probably) but it would give both sides what they wanted. Corey could pursue a team that would give him 20 carries a game and keep the part of his bonus and the Pats keep him out of the division or away from a rival. I don't have his cap numbers in front of me and if there was not a bonus to be prorated, it makes it a moot point........
If it's not, they could frame it as he pays $X to be released to be paid at a date in the future (say two years) and the Pats give a wink and a nod saying that they won't pursue it if he signs in the NFC..................
