I had assumed we'd see Gronk in Week 4.

Now it seems less likely.

Let's use this thread as a place to discuss IF/WHEN we will see him. I'd like to be able to go here and get the latest.....

And I'd appreciate good news!

If he's activated, then he'll be expected to perform as an activated player does. And certainly not before then. I mean an active player is suppose to be active, otherwise he might as well be inactive. You'll know he's active when he's not inactive.

Why does it seem less likely? I would say there is a 90% chance that he will play Sunday night.

Mike Reiss said last week that if last week was a playoff game, Gronk would have played. He was also upgraded from Doubtful the week before to Questionable last week. He was probably held out last week because they felt they didn't absolutely need him to beat the Bucs and an extra week would be beneficial.

I would be shocked if Gronk wasn't playing on Sunday.

less likely why?

did i miss something?

all i've seen is he was a full participant again today, BB said he's "definitely made progress"

Are we going to have a thread posted here every week asking members here who have no idea of when Gronk is going to return when he is going to return until he actually does?

I just want them to make sure he's ready, i don't care which week he comes back as long as he stays on the field for the rest of the season and play-offs once he returns.

Wouldn't be shocked if Gronk and Amendola played Sunday.

Then the choice is: who doesn't start in a 3 WR 1 TE set? Edelman, Thompkins or Dobson?

I suspect he will for 15-20 snaps. No Amendola, though.

Honestly, I would like to see Thompkins, Dobson, and Amendola, with Amendola in the slot and Edelman coming in to spell him. The kids have already been tossed in the deep end. It's their turn to sink or swim.

I honestly miss seeing Gronk out there. I cannot wait to have that goofy oaf (I say that as a term of endearment my liege) back on the field catching passes from TB12 and clearing alleys for the RBs.

There's a better chance of Tom and Giselle 69ing on TV at halftime on Sunday than us knowing Gronk's injury status.

They better be darned sure that that forearm is healed before he comes back. He breaks it again, mother mercy, it's the end of Rico.

There's really a problem with having a new thread right now on Gronk's prospects?

Is there a more important open issue to the Pats at this time?

There have been rumblings and murmurs about Gronk's arm being still an issue. That, to me, suggests that Atlanta may not happen for him or that he might be limited.

In a word, yes.

I dont think anyone questions the Gronk injury being an 'important open issue'. But I think the point he is making is that making threads asking posters on the this forums is not going get any answers. No one knows except BB . All the rumblings and murmurs dont make it a fact and no one here has any deep inside knowledge .

Bill Belichick told Michael Holley that we don't need Gronk to beat the Falcons,

because the Falcons are hurt and are playing like crap anyway, thus we are in coast mode.

Yeah, I dont want him back favoring his right arm like he did vs houston. But he needs game reps so maybe a few snaps here and there to get him going maybe is what they will do.

Yeah, I thought he was pretty close to being back.

I suppose he will play Sunday night, we really need him for this game.
