Talk about being a true ignoramus.....

Here is a little.......

"
Then, slowly but surely, all the key players that had helped the Pats to the Super Bowl left, one by one, via free-agency or trade deals—all because the front office didn’t want to spend top dollar on the players that had gotten them to the top. Willie McGinest, Lawyer Milloy and Ty Law left on defense. Linebacker Tedy Bruschi suffered a life-threatening stroke. Then they let Vinatieri sign with the Colts while trading their best receiver and ’04 Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch, who was holding out for a better contract.

The Pats let all these guys go. Why? Because they put their money into Brady, one of three players in the league with a guaranteed contract (the others: Manning and—don’t laugh—Michael Vick). The plan? To cash in on Brady’s image. But it didn’t work. And, in the end, this decision paved the way for Manning to thrive."

You're right. That is the DUMBEST PIECE OF GARBAGE THAT I'VE EVER READ.
WHAT A MORON!

Yup, that is pretty ignorant but I swear I have read similar garbage before. I have read this stuff before..now where was it...oh yeah right here on this very board, posted by Pats fans nonetheless.

The ignorance is every where. All most of us who have a decent understanding of how the Pats operate can do, is laugh at them. The alternative isn't good for your health. ;)

That writer is smoking some serious crack! He talks about Brady's image...what a waste. I can't believe that this assclown has a job!

I hate it when sports writers act like they know every little thing about every single team. I don't write about the Falcons, because I don't follow the daily happenings there. Clearly this doofus doesn't have the slightest clue as to what's going on in NE. I'd be embarrassed if I were him.

I sent him an email, told him just what you said and that I posted his article in here.

I suggested he read about the team in here and follow the thread for responses. Maybe a few other should email him....

I'll let you all know if he writes me back.

Wow. I've seen stupid before, but that really takes the cake. Just in case that writer actually does come to this message board, allow me to address him here (with the politeness befitting a guest):

Um...actually, Brady took less money to stay here than he probably could have gotten. See, he wanted the team to be able to stay competitive, which he didn't think could happen if all their cap money was tied up in him. I could address the rest of your article, but just that little mis-statement of fact there makes me think that perhaps you could benefit from a little more research on the Patriots? Then maybe you could take another crack at it?

Thank you,
Somebody that knows his ass from his elbow

Whomever "crafted" this little gem... is worthy of nothing.

Kinda funny though. In a National Enquirer way;-)

Not only is he a dumbass, he is a lazy dumbass, the worst kind.

From the rest of the article....

>>>>So Brady stepped into the perfect situation for a quarterback: a rock-solid defense.
***Yeah, a 5-11 team coming off an 0-2 start.......
>>>You see, Brady has never had to deal with real adversity. He walked into the perfect situation and let his image do the rest...

***Yeah, 6th round 3rd string QBs are a lock to make the team......
freaking bozo....

I think I now know what happened to Mr. Vick's magical water bottle......
