Sudfeld hasn't put up numbers so therefore he's useless and should be cut.As long as he is not injured or in prison, I am very pleased with Sudfeld's performance. He ran a number of routes yesterday where he took linebackers with him and there were openings that led to positive yards, including the second TD to Thompkins. Sudfeld took the coverage at the goal line with him to the right while Thompkins found the opening at the back of the end zone for the score. It looked to me like he did his job yesterday.
On the interception, Brady said he was looking for Aaron Dobson, not Zach Sudfeld: “It was just a bad play, a bad throw, a bad decision, everything. Those are the ones that should be eliminated and shouldn’t happen. I was pretty bummed about it all night.” - See more at: The Blitz with Jeff Howe & Karen Guregian | Boston Herald
Basing it on what we saw in pre season maybe we put too much stock into him. Over time he should be fine & contribute.
Hopefully he turns it around. Just two games so I guess we'll see. Having Gronk back hopefully will open things up for the offense in general.
I hate this whole "every time he's targeted bad things happen".
He slipped the first time. It happens. The second int yesterday was on Brady. He said today he meant to throw for Dobson but instead threw to a double covered Sudfeld. How's that Sudfeld's fault?
You are so right, I'm sure since the Pats are 3-0 BB also has nothing to gripe about today either. All sunshine and roses. :bricks:
Sudfeld has been awful, I'd much rather have Daniel Fells.
Sudfeld had all of two passes thrown to him yesterday, and one of them was a poor decision by Brady throwing into coverage when two other receivers were wide open.
As for the Buffalo game, there were plenty of players slipping on the bargain-basement turf used there. Let's not forget that he was returning from a hamstring injury; it's not unreasonable to think that he was still less than 100% healthy.
To suggest that the Patriots should cut him at this point is even more of an over-reaction than there was to his looking good in OTAs and training camp drills. It's simply way too early to make a determination one way or the other.
I suppose the grass is always greener elsewhere when people actually prefer the perennially injured Daniel Fells and his four receptions in all of 2012, or the pride of Maine, Matt Mulligan and his Steam Shovel.
Actually, he didn't even throw it towards Sudfeld, that was the announcers who erroneously said that. It was thrown in the direction of Dobson, and picked along the way.

As far as the camera angle goes, the pass was well to the right of Sudfeld and more towards Dobson with 2 defenders in between. I was also wondering where did this "Brady locked on to Sudfeld" thing came from
All I'm saying is just cuz they are 3-0 doesn't mean there is nothing to complain about, or we can't bring up that someone deserves to get cut.Evidently, to you, the only two options are opposite sides of an extreme.
For those of us living in the real world, we understand it usually is somewhere in between.
Fact: Sudfeld has played 6 quarters of NFL regular season football on a bad hammy.
Why don't you hold it in for a few more games and see how it plays out before begging Daniel Fells, of all people, to save the franchise?
