Good. He's a straight-up headhunter, and I feel better about our guys going over the middle without him out there.

That said, I still wish he'd signed with us back when we brought him in.

After watching that Saints/Bucs game, I won't shed away tears if he's out. He's one of the dirtiest players in the league and this suspension was highly warranted.

Goldson isn't a Patriot and that's all that matters now. Despite warnings, he's repeatedly attacked players with his helmet so he rates as a scum on my meter. If his team loses to the Pats due to his absence then all the better - for us and the league.

Speaking of illegal hits, anyone been watching Brandon Merriweather? Evidently, the guy hasn't gotten the message yet that you can't lead with the helmet. After he knocked Lacy out of the game with a concussion, he hits heads with James Starks and retains a concussion.

It only took 15 personal foul penalties since 2010 for him to get a 1 game suspension?

He's lucky it's only 1 game.

I am sure if BB had signed Dashon Goldson he would be a savior around here. When was the last time we had a Enforcer type Safety? Rodney Harrison many moons ago I love Strong Safties in the mold of Goldson and Bernard Pollard.

Not many people will agree with you, but I will. People would love Goldson if he was here. This team has been badly needing an enforcer type safety that can cover since Harrison hung them up. Pollard is an enforcer that has trouble in coverage, but Goldson is one that can actually hold his own in coverage.

I'll agree to that; although I also hope that Belichick would have reined in some of the head shots that he delivers. But yeah, a Goldson/McCourty safety combo would be one of the best in the NFL.
