I am a huge Edelman - always have been since the September 2009 Jets game.
He has been here a long time and has shown toughness, smarts, and dedication. He has been injury-prone - but so has every Patriots WR I can think of who was not and Troy or Wes. He deserves a small raise.

By the way, I think it would be foolish to not kick the tires on Twiggy Branch and Brandon Lloyd right now.

That sucks, but I guess it could be worse. Granted it is during the Pats' arguably toughest stretch of the season. He is a tough SOB so I am guessing 3 weeks over 4 week Might be back by the Saints.

Of course. But we're kinda beyond that now, like it or not.

Any additional warm-body veteran would be nice to have right now. Knowing the system would, of course, be a huge bonus.

But then I've been saying all of the above since before the injury... (I still think Stallworth would've been a good pickup in the offseason and my mind isn't changed.)
