Times are good in Jacksonville for ex Patriots these days:

Per Oliver Thomas:

"The Jaguars have promoted Patriots 2012 seventh-round wideout Jeremy Ebert to the 53-man roster from the practice squad."

If he keeps improving BB should consider recalling him.

Jax can have him.
If Bill was looking for a 7th-round WR, then he should've taken a chance on Junior Hemingway.

And if NBC had a program titled America's Got Negative Talent, then Bill's 10+ year run of
not drafting/developing good WRs would be a finalist.

I forget... is he the fat one or the bald one?

Wow, again. Every time Belichick picks a guy who doesn't do anything, you find some other guy to get attached to even though he's done almost nothing too.

Ebert's never going to be great but good for him for pocketing a little change. NFL min looks a lot better than PS money.

Never liked Hemingway either. Always shooting off his mouth...

Wait I think I might have the wrong Hemingway too...

Ebert has excellent speed and good hands. Not sure why he couldn't make the Pats.

I liked him as well.

Not sure if he is an upgrade over the rookies we currently have however.

Ebert was waived today. So ends that brief moment for him

I actually met him at Shim Sham's (a bar in Jax Beach). He had nothing but nice things to say about the team and area. I also met Gabbert and Justin Blackmon (who was HAMMERED).

he was waived?...stupid Pats...it's their fault for cutting him..if they hadn';t he never would have been waived by the Jags...Pats sukk

So are the Patriots the Rutgers to the Jacksonville Jaguars?
