Please post your comments, knee jerk reactions, and insightful observations on the now complete win over the Jets.

It was ugly but it was a W. It seems the Jets always play close games against the Patriots in Foxboro. In NJ, the Patriots usually blow them out.

Patriots v. Jets 9/13 postgame thread

Here's a thread to discuss whatever the hell that was out there.

I would like to thank the defense for securing that win.

Vince Wilfork .... Talk to me.. !! Ducasse put him in his back pocket

We will let the Dennard thread float as there may be differing strong opinions.

Man, do we need a healthy Gronkowski and Amendola on O. The biggest point for mine out of tonight's game was the poor play calling of McDaniels. Pushing aside the drops, why wasn't he calling plays that put the rookies in positions to succeed? Why insist on running stretch plays all game? Why toss the ball to Ridley in the wet after last week's mental demons?

Happy to get the win. Happy the D kept the game tight.

I agree, though I think the last time a Pats fan said that was probably around 2005...

Great win, I love this win. Gutty, gritty, and hard.

Aside from Edelman, our best receiver tonight was Talib.

Love Edelman'z fire. He's a warrior.

But if he's your #1 or 2 receiver, your offense isn't very good. He's a great returner who should be an inside WR

I love this team.

That was fun. That really was fun and entertaining. These kind of games, will go a long way in the postseason. It's been awhile since our team had to win games like this.

Our rooks will grow up.
Gronk will be back.
Amendola will be back.
Vereen will be back.
Our D did an amazing job.
Talib was worth every penny.
Edelman is becoming a star.

We're 2-0 with this squad. Think positive. We're going places:rocker:

Oh yeah...The Jets got thrown out of our stadium. LOL

Which brings me to the post of the game thread award:

Probably someone's already mentioned it, but JI is in a predictably complete meltdown right now. The first post I read, a guy responding to a Pats fan, said, and I quote:

**** you **** head you could not win without cheating you little prick bring it I will beat the ever loving **** out of you

Ya, not sure this game did much to heal the divide between our two teams.

As Vin Diesel said in To Fast To Furious, it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning. I will take 2-0 with all the adversity we've faced its something to be proud of.

Re: I love this team.

I'll love this team if Dobson, Thompkins, and Boyce all play like seasoned veterans by the time the playoffs come around.

Right now I hate this team. That was one of the most boring and frustrating games I've watched in a long time.

2 division games, 2 wins. That offense was pathetic (no doubt), but we left the game up to our D late needing a big play or a big stop, and they made it. There was some real ugly out there tonight, but some grittiness we haven't seen out of the Pats in a while.

take the win, burn the game tape, and hopefully the injured list becomes smaller

You can't be serious.
