Havent seen anyone else predict it yet, so here goes... we'll trade one of our #1's for a #2 and a pick next year... I think there will still be lots of talent in the mid-high 2's, it will be cheaper, and it will once again put us in a strong position at next years draft

You mean a #2 this year and a #1 next year I hope?

I'd agree if it weren't for the new CBA. 1st rounders have even higher value now.

I think it really depends on whose available. If there's a certain guy we want then we probably won't. So it depends a lot on what other teams do.

Well I totally agree with you about them trading down. But I see it with the later picks. There is a great thread about the COMP picks we get.. I have a feelign we'll change those #4 and #6 picks this year to #3 and #5 picks the following year

cant trade comp picks... if you mean our regular 4 and 6, for a 3 and 5 next year, i wouldnt mind it

it would depend on the drop... our #28 this year for oaklands 2 wouldnt get us a 1 next year... id see somthing like our 24 for a high pick in the 2nd, plus a 2nd next year.

we'd have to drop to the lower half of the 2nd to net a 1 next year, i think.

I've kind of been thinking along the same thought. It does seem to be the year to do it. This is one of the best years for 2nd rounders I've seen in a long time. I'm cool with it.
