Adalius Thomas wants to come here and according to Doug Banks of SI.com the Pats are going to (or could might be a better choice of words) a major push toward signing him.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

• Where will the biggest of the free-agent names end up? Sources I talked to Thursday said not to discount linebacker Adalius Thomas winding up with New England -- despite an expected price tag that could approach $9 million per season. While many anticipate Thomas being reunited with former Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Nolan in San Francisco, some within the league said the 49ers won't necessarily make a strong push for him.

Sighs...all these rumors.
If only they were true.:(

He also probably "wants to play" for the 49ers or Packers if they pay him enough money.

If Adalius Thomas coming to the Pats would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO TIGHT! Line him up on the outside and somehow draft Patrick Willis! Willis will be a machine!

God i would love that cause that darn jet fan on the board said the jet's might ink porter if it was me i'd get porter and thomas but hey this isn't madden.
I would be mighty happy with Adalius thomas and then draft a lb like Deossie to learn from him. If we walk away in free agency with a adalius thomas or a porter or even a jarret johnson I will be hyped up how about we really screw the poor ravens and get adalius and johnson?

I'm sure the Pats will push hard for him. He plays every defensive position (including DB for crying out loud) and played special teams for the most of his carreer (which everyone on this board likes). It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up in New England or San Fransico. Other than those two teams, it would surprise me.

Well Don Banks is legit, not some schmuck. Doesn't mean it'll happen but the interest is almost certainly true.

*In Star Trek Jean Luc Picard voice*

Make it so!

Sorry had to drop a geek line in there, because I would be so geeked up if we land Thomas!! :p

This would be a wet dream come true...Don't play with my head....PRICELESS!!!!!!

Wow that would be one hefty FA signing.

The money it would cost would be substantial.

I have actually never heard of him before a few days ago. And that's something special considering how much football I watch. But everyone is going crazy over the guy and we need help at LB.

The Colts just won the Super Bowl.

They have about 20 FA's

They needed Peyton to redo his deal just to sign Freeney.

They're losing 4 or 5 key starting players. Not irreplaceable just still a loss.

They're going to be circled on every teams calendar

Wow living between Pittsburgh and Baltimore I see alot of ravens games the guy is a monster I would love to have him thing is he's at his prime and can only regress I think he can only play at top level for at the most 3 years.
Would this be a smart signing to give him like a 5 year deal if we do and he wants to come here I hope Pioli has some language in there if he starts to slow down.

Really?

He had 38.5 sacks in 6 seasons. 28 of which in his last 3 seasons.

I know. That's why I'm saying it's a wonder. Maybe because every other LB is in the shadow of Ray Lewis still and I don't follow the Ravens whatsoever.

I heard the interview. Adalius stated money wasn't everything,{cough..cough,yeah ok} he said his decision would also be based on how he was used. They asked him about New England and what he thought of their schemes and he replied with some very gracious comments and how much he would like to play here. It was a great interview overall and gave me some hope about getting him. I love Sirius Radio.NFL 24 hours aday.
