Graham is gone peiople and lets get ready for Dave Thomas. YOu recall he cought passes from Vince in college ...and he did a great job in the one big game he played for the Pats this season. He can catch, he can block...Graham who?

Still kinda hope they bring in a Kyle Brady type to be the blocking TE. Thomas and Watson both CAN block, but I'd like them catching balls as much as possible.

Don't leave out my man Watson. :rocker:

Thought this was a thread about hamburgers...nevermind!;)

I like the idea of using Thomas out of the slot in some formations, like a poor mans Dallas Clark. Thomas and Watson are improving as blockers but they are both less than average by NFL standards, luckily a blocking TEs is not hard to find (Wiggins, Brady, Tony Stewart <-- can he block? I really don't know)

Dude we are going to see alot Dave Thomas...He is going to have going Tom Brady favorite target....Hate to he a classy guy (Grahm) go....Good luck Dan and go to the NFC pleeeeaaaaasssseeee!!!!!!!

Watson regressed this season....lets hope they dont draft another 2 TE's - Jabar Holloway 2.0's again this year...

gee, you would almost think that BB knew what he was doing when he drafted Maroney and David Thomas. I mean after all, we had Dillon and Graham. :D

Regressed? Are you kidding me? In only his second season of playing time Watson had 643 yards and 49 catches, which are very solid numbers for a tight end.

The regression thing makes no sense because he had 20 more receptions and 202 more yards receiving than last year. He also had 10 receptions of more than 20 yards, which is pretty good for a tight end. This year he had no consistent receiving threat to help open up the middle of the field and he was also suffered arm and knee injuries.

Watson is currently and in the future one of our biggest weapons on offense. Look past the talk.

Regression is a strong word. Let us say he hasn't progressed as hoped. Yes, we're getting Dallas Clark-esqe receiving from Watson, but we're also getting Dallas Clark-esqe blocking from him too.

Somebody's got to play strong side TE, and you'd think that Watson would have better tools than Thomas.

Here Here to the Thomas Era but also Don't sleep on Garret Mills kid is a football player and is versatile.

Think he will surprise some of you guys this year:D

I think people were unrealistic when they said he would suddenly become Ben Coates in his second year and while playing in an offense that was undergoing heavy transition. He's gonna the man. :eat1:
