Well, at least the Pats aren't the only ones with a depleted WR corp going into tomorrow night. Looks like the Jets will be without their best receiver (at least until Holmes gets back to 100%) in Jeremy Kerley.

Also, Nick Mangold went out of the game on Sunday and has been limited this week although, he is too tough not to play. He is the Jets version of Mankins in that respect.

This is going to be an ugly game. Something like 13-7.

Jeremy Kerley is nice third option and third down WR the Jets Offense will miss Jeremy Kerley but the Patriots Defense wont.:)

I hope the concussion isn't too severe and they're just being hyper-cautious.

Hope Kerley recovers quickly and is fine, but re: tomorrow's game I guess that's good news. OTOH he's exactly the kind of guy that Kyle Arrington excels against anyway, so I'm not sure that he would have had much of an impact. Their WRs don't scare me at all, but if this gives the Pats the ability to devote more attention to Winslow, then all the better.

Been hearing this stuff a lot. Which means the pats will probably win 52-10

Yeah…. I can’t wait to see how good of a WR Brady is….

When Amendola went out against Buffalo, Boyce replaced him. A definite downgrade, but Boyce looked good enough in preseason. Plus Dobson's healthy now. Don't get me wrong, I'm worried, but it's not like we have fresh corpses lining up at WR. There will be actual, pretty decent football players taking snaps out there, and Brady's done quite a bit with just as little in the past. It absolutely sucks that it's come to that, but the Pats won't suddenly forget how to move the football forward just because they lost Vereen and Amendola.

Maybe Mangold's sister will suit up and no one will know the difference.

hah -- no kidding. I seem to remember back in the day ('04) the Pats were ravaged by injuries in the secondary and were thought to have little chance against the Rams. Final: Pats 40, Rams 22. The fake field goal/TD game. Gotta step up and find a way.

if the pats can't shut this O down...we are going to have major problems...they have nothing...NOTHING on O besides a few good plays from Geno.

RBs are horrid
WR issues is worse than ours
TE? Worse than us

At TE I'd love to have Cumberland and Winslow over Mulligan and Hooman.

At WR I'd say that Hill, Holmes and Spadola are more experienced than Edelman and the rooks.

But I agree with you - I'm not impressed by their offense at all but our defense needs to play better than they have in the past. Another performance like week 1 without injuries and turnovers and I think we win pretty handily, 10+ points.

I thought the Pats released Mulligan?

They did, then they re-signed him yesterday. It's a really weird game of musical chairs down at the bottom of the roster.

Somebody in Foxboro must make commision on transactions.

The whole roster might be or is already musical chairs.

PS Kerley has a good history in games vs Pats as I can recall. He can be ultra-dangerous in certain games.

Cumberland is nothing and Winslow is done. He had one good game against the Bucs yay. He's done physically and did not play last season.

Hill can't catch. Holmes is done and a headcase who makes Brandon Lloyd look normal. Spadola is nothing more than a preseason warrior.

Pats WR/TEs > Jests pathetic WR/TEs

Lookit this newbie whose team signs people for more than 3 days. Pfft, get with the program son.

Musical chairs indeed, I guess I need to try harder to keep up.
