im probably the only one here with this opinion but antonio bryant just got cut from the niners, now i know he has to serve a 2 game suspension but i still think hes exactly what we need. a speedy deep threat to take pressure off the running game. let the koolaid bashing begin....

He complains constantly about not getting the ball enough.
He has had many off field issues over i dont know how many years.
He is very VERY inconsistent with his play.



Probably deserves to be playing for the Bengals.

The Pats brought in Bryant when he was coming out of college he bombed his interview. I forget the story behind it maybe somebody else remembers but either way he's not walking threw that door.

I don't know if you are alone but this guy has been released from three teams already and he's the same guy that threw a jersey in Parcells face so I believe he has to many issues to even take a chance on but he would be a good fit for the Raiders just down the road.

I don't know much about the guy and you might be right, but "complains constantly," has "issues," is "inconsistent"??? sounds like Corey Dillon a few years ago...

corey dillon complained cuz he was on a cruddy team
believe me this guy is a much worse seed than corey

complains of not being involved enough in the offense

too many dui's to count along with other run ins with the law

one week he'll have 5 cathces for 100 yards then disappear for two or three weeks with maybe 1 catch for 11 yards combined.

He's that inconsistent.

It sounds like Dillon except for the fact that Byant has done nothing on the field and Cory was on track for the HOF before he came to NE. Just slight difference.

oh your absolutley right, i really dont know all of the past stuff and frankly i dont want to take time out of my day to look at his stats. im just brainstorming here. hes a deep threat, he'll come cheap cause of all the off field problems. he has had fairly productive years, not a constant 1000 rec. but decent yardage per year ( i think around 600-1000 yards a season). im sure it wont happen but its late and i really cant think of anything more imaginative at this time...
