Well He was a great blocking tight end, and will be sorry to see him go,but if we offered him 4mill a yr as has been reported, he knows he will get the same and be the main man ... I wish him well, and remember his tying td in the houston 03 game.. Also helped alot in Dwight Freeny Colt games as well..

On the positive side it would appear Dillon will be a Patriot in 2007. Insiders tell me a deal has been worked out. Lets see if he knows what he is talking about.

I'm sitting here trying to find a way some glimmer of hope he stays but my heart, gut and mind all tell me he's good as gone.
It's a shame our o line couldn't get the job done without graham staying in to hold the fort and protect the franchise. IF this is indeed true what if we moved up to get thomas or stayed put and picked up staley.
Although I'd like to see One more year out of OC the mountain.
Completely left field but what if the Pats offered the raiders a 4th for Gallery?
And Dante turned him into what we all thought he could be Man i'm crazy thank god i'm not the GM of the pats.

Who is your insider? if you cant reveal how reliable is or has he been in the past?

That would be sweet if he did agree to return:rocker:

This is one of those "lets put some press out there and see if theres any interest" Looks like there wasnt much interest in the part of other teams signing CD, so he comes back under a reworked deal. SImilar to TBC...

See ya Grahambo.

Rumors
I heard the Dillon deal has fallen flat and no deal has been inked,

Pats are pursueing Portis and McGahee.

Not much of a contribution, But Hey, I am trying.:)

6 hours to midnight on the west coast, do they go by east coast time?

to bad to see him go, but I think he knows that there may be some high bidders for his services. Especially ones he knew he may be the #1 guy, where he'll be a 1-2 guy, if that. Hopefully he will go to a NFC team so we dont se him to much. Thanks DG! Best of luck, just not against the Pats.

Woaa!

BTB reports secret last minute deal with Corey, and then Gun nails comes out with a secret rumor that the secret deal fell through and the Pats have been chasing Portis and McGahee. All in a goodbye Grambo thread!

I call a 5 yard illegal procedure penalty on both of you!!!

Both of you. March right over to the Dillon thread and spill as much as you possibly can without exposing sensitive sources. Do it!

I see a Dillon departure as not necessarily a bad thing. I think the whole two back thing made us very predictable.
