Any DBs with fluid hips catch your eye during the position drills?

I am not Box but I will give you few of my impressions so far from what I have seen.

I think Ross from Texas looked good in his drills.
Laron Landry is everything that he has been advertised to be. He will be a stud in the NFL

Marcus McNauley ran really well, was a little high in the hips in his drills, but he is a tall, skinny guy, so that is a tough thing for him to do.

The DB from UNLV (transfered from USC) looked really good in drills as well

Merriweather ran slower than expected but I thought looked good in drills.

Eric Weddle is getting a lot of love, but I don't if he does much for me.

Leon HAll ran well and looked good in drills

The corner from California did not look good at all to me, he ran slow and had a horrible vertical. He will slip I think

Wade (Tennessee) looked very fluid. If I recall correctly, the knock on him was track skills vs. football skills and limited experience.

Wright UNLV was very fluid. He requires a full background investigation since he was linked to drugs and I believe sexual assualt while at USC.

I'll watch a replay later for more, Rich Eisen and Deion Sanders frenching each other was a serious nap attack. Another horrid day of non-coverage.

Did they reveal Dieon's legendary Combine 40 time?

Patriots-80,

Why don't you just re-cycle the same thread for Box. Whenever you have new questions for him -- just bump it on up. Better yet, you can always ask the entire board, unless ya tink we don't know nuttin. :bricks:

But its sooooooooooooooooooo hard to spell you name. Do you how much effort that would take to type? Its so much easier to type in the subject line the "b" button, then the "o" one, and then the "r" one. :D

I can beat that. Just type in a small (s) for draft forum assistance -- the large bold S is reserved for phone booths. :D

You know, I have been thinking about LB, especially after your Urlacher comparison. We all know that BB tends to trade speed for size in his LBs. Whereas, the rest of the league tends to trade size for speed. If that basic premise is true, then I think Zak DeOssie and David Harris will come off the board before Stew Bradley. I actually really believe that neither Zak nor Harris will be there at 60 (which for all purposes is the beginning of the 3rd round). I don't see either of them making it to the bottom of the 2nd round. Bradley, maybe. LBs who run 4.5s just don't make it to the bottom of the 2nd/beginning of the 3rd round, IMHO.

im interested in Wade..i know hes a track guy..on the short side of a CB but hes got a lot of athletic talent..now that doesnt make a good football player but hes practiced against Meachem and Swain every day so hes been challenged and played against some real good talent during regular season..

Id take him in 3rd-4th

From now on just flash the BORMAN Symbol in the sky and he'll come a runnin'.

Did you notice "foo"ever has some kind of goth symbol glowing over his badger hole? Odd.

Bradley is still my first choice for most well-rounded with size and major conference experience. Harris is more of a run stuffer from what I can see, but he'd still be a decent pick-up. Zak has a note that he isn't as physical as you'd like, he played lesser competition, but he shows up well on Special Teams which is one of the places you find scrappers. I just read where PFW had a note claiming Brian Robison (Texas) split reps between DE and OLB while at Texas, that is very encouraging for getting at least one 250 lb LB in the middle rounds. You could always take a flyer on Hickman (UCLA) or Mitchell (Tennessee) in the 6th.

Yeah, Stew is my first choice. But I was looking at it more from the other 31 teams perspectives. I think that LBs who run 4.5 will come off the board quicker because the NFL loves speed.

Nemmie anointed him a mod ... I think the power has gone to his head. :D

Nemmie was having technical issues and I work in technology so I told him to give me access and I'd help him out. I don't think he's a bad guy he just needs something to fill the obvious hole in his life.

We had this C++ programmer who took a contract at our company for 4 months and he was majorly into the Goth scene. He looked like Ozzy Circa 1976 which in itself was pretty funny. We called him the Prince_O_Darkness LOL.

Any way we are eating lunch one day and everybody in the room is a major Pats fan and somebody says something about Brady and P_O_D says to us "Who is Tom Brady?"

We all explode laughing figuring he's just messing with us because we tease him about the Goth scene.

It took him ten minutes to convince us that he wasn't screwing around.

When you live in Mass and don't know who Tom Brady is you are deep underground Goth. :rocker:

P.S. The Batman symbol was just a bad attempt at humor, boredom at work will do that.

Careful, bad attempts at (in his case alleged humor) humor will lead you to starting your own forum.

Re: PATRIOTS - 80

Way to go! A re-cycled and environmentally-friendly thread makes for a cleaner planet, er um -- board. Conscious beings can make a difference. BRAVO! :rocker:

I'm sure nemmie will let you crash at his place if it comes to that.
