Who are you most excited to see play this Sunday? Let’s eliminate Brady as a candidate, because he is someone I think we’re all excited to watch every week of every year.

These are the players that peak my interest the most:

Amendola – WR
Jones – DE

Obvious choices, but they’re both going to be a big part of the team and they looked very good in their preseason action.

Kenbrell Thompkins.

I'm really hoping he becomes that physical presence that the Pats have lacked on the outside.

LOL, for me it's always Tom Brady! Can't wait to see if he can put together some magic with his new targets!

Go Pats!!

No can do, but I am excited to see the new wideouts.

Chandler Jones & Tommy Kelly on the DL, if the Pats can get pressure with the front 4 that will do the entire defense the world of good.

Kenbrell Thompkins, he just looks an exciting player.

Brady
Dobson
Jones
Hightower
Ridley

I've been thinking the same. While the board is justifiably concerned about DL depth, the starting 4-man line of Jones year two, Wilfork, Kelly & Ninkovich could be the best we've seen here in a while.

Top 5:

Brady
Dobson
Thompkins
Chandler Jones
Big Vince

Any and all of the new guys that see the field ............

File under intriguing: Sudfeld starting off his rookie season as the presumptive #1 TE

Vereen

I think he's gonna have some big games this year in the Woodhead+ role

Gotta root for the new punter. Don't want to see him struggle in his first start then have to worry about him the rest of the year and wonder why that released Mesko. I personally think he'll be fine but this is his first test.

on offense:
thompkins over the top
sudfeld in the red zone
vereen as a regular

on defense:
hightower ... big things since he's now got a green dot on his helmet....they must really like what they see

tommy kelly ... he;s never had anyone like wilfork next to him, I think he will free up to be beast, which in turn, will free up jones to be beast

ninkovich ... best season yet

collins ... his athleticism is sorely needed in the LB group

I'm excited to see the defense turn into something more similar to what existed in earlier years ... I believe this season has seen the least amount of turnover on the defensive side of the ball in a long long time

Which of his vast collection of hoodies BB will be wearing.

Aaron of Dobson

all the rookie WR's and TE's and most of all the defense

My pick too. With so many rookies and second-year guys, there are a lot f players I want to see in real game action. But with the losses of Woodhead and that former tight end, I'm excited to see what this guy can do.

All of them........but I'm most curious about the DEs and LBs and their ability to get pressure and defend the short passing game.

Thompkins, love what I've been seeing of him so far. Would also love to see Chandler Jones take the next step. Hopefully Logan Ryan will be a quality player as well.
