Well that worked out great...

meh, FAs don't cost anything but Bob's money. Not sure why you feel so invested in this, unless you're Bob and this is your passive aggressive way of venting.

Not surprised, the guy didn't look like he was moving well at all.

What's the point? Why not just release him?

Is it confirmed it is season ending?

I guess that means we are currently at 52 either way.

can't wait until he comes back next year all healed up and ready to beast again!!

Wow, that's terrific. Regardless of what you thought about AW, we get another year of the Gregory and Tavon show :bricks:

And just perhaps, we expect that he would be playing better if he were healthy?

He has a 3 year contract and they want him back next year?

You can't release injured players. There's still a possibility that they reach an injury settlement and release Wilson from IR for less than his full salary.

Is Wilson open to return to the roster with that special, one-man designation for IR?

Didn't the Patriots do this with Visante Shanco a year or two ago?

Not sure if you have to declare it outright, though....

Will Allen type move keep him around as a mentor and then cut him loose after the season.

He looked like ass anyways. Mind boggling that this secondary is still so dubious. All it takes is for Talib to hurt his leg again and suddenly the dominoes all fall: McCourty goes back to corner, the two morons are at safety, and anything goes.

Do I have this right?

in season IR - A WIlson
NFI - Armstead, Harrison
PUP - no one

august 31st doomsday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He looked two steps slow in addition to already being two steps slow. I don't know if that's "injury" related or not. This seems like a veteran courtesy more than anything.

If he wasn't injured...

Isn't the 'veteran courtesy' move to cut him and let him find another team? He's already made his money from the Pats in '13.
