Please feel free to correct

The first EIGHT are easy (for me)
Allen
Davis
Davis
Green
Kline
McDonald
Morris
Sims

THE LAST fOUR

RB (at least 2)
Winn (1)
Devlin (2)
Blount
Bolden
Washington

DE (0-1)
Cunningham
Bequette

DT (0-2)
Forston
Vellano

LB/ST (0-2)
Tarpinian
Beauharnais

DB (0-2)
Wilson
Wilson

The Two Last Cut
Tebow (3)
Ebner (4)
Francis

I'd include Francis in the DEs in my opinion. And Tavon Wilson is not in the DBs, but Adrian Wilson is.

After your first 8, I have Allen, Tarpinian, Cunningham, Winn and Ebner getting cut, and I can see a reserve offensive linemen (either McDonald or Kline) or Sims making the team.

We may cut below 53. Guys in italics are no locks.

Allen is in his first 8

I made the fix. Allen is in the first 8, but not in the last four choices.

I could cut a boat load right now:

Quentin Sims
Ja'Gared Davis
Jeff Tarpinian
Kanorris Davis
Justin Green
Stephon Morris
Ryan Allen

Come on Bill, let's go. :p

Chop! Chop!

Tarpinian is a solid special teamer. He's already beaten out Koutovides and Rivera.

It's a longshot, but I'm hesitant to include Kanorris Davis in the automatic cuts. He's been pretty good on special teams and the others at the safety position with the exception of McCourty all have some type of question marks themselves. McCourty and Harmon (draft status) are the only locks for that unit. Gregory looks good by comparison, but shouldn't a backup (which is what he is, to McCourty) safety be expected to contribute to special teams?

I'm not saying Gregory should go or that Davis will make the team - just something to consider.

I'm also thinking that there's a possibility that Winn might be traded, given his performance during camp and the pre season. It wasn't spectacular, but he was consistent and always going full speed every snap he got.

One never knows what's going on in the coach's minds, and behind the closed doors of their offices, what deals may or may not be in the works. But Winn stood out a bit, at least to my mind and might have a bit of value to the team.

I also fully expect to see Tim Tebow on the 53 man roster.

You are correct. Davis has played well, perhaps enough to have a long shot at a special team spot. Many rosters of a week ago had 11 or even 12 defensive backs.

However, with regard to safety, I disagree. Gregory is the starter opposite McCourty. In any case, it is A Wilson who has been putting time in on the special teams. I think that we will have all 5 safeties active.

I think there will be more than 12 cuts made.

I expect the following cuts:
Ryan Allen - P
Kanorris Davis - S
Ja'Gared Davis - LB
Jeff Tarpinian - LB
Justin Green - CB
Brandon Bolden - RB
Leon Washington - RB
James Develin - FB
Josh Kline - OL
Joe Vellano - DL
Chris McDonald - OL

I expect these moves to be made:
Jermaine Cunningham - IR
Nate Ebner - IR
Stephon Morris - Waived/IR

That's 14 moves. I then expect the Pats to add A DL and an OL to the Roster.

Because he has done NOTHING in a regular season game...and has NO track record...he would never be traded...but I agree with u that this guy has shown a TON this preseason....and I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see Boldin get the axe...and Winn make it. Also agree on Tebow. ..but we never know what BB is thinking!

I actually think Develin may make the team. He can play FB in short yardage situations and can like up as an H-Back. He's exactly the swiss army knife type of player that Belichick looks for. Outside of that, I have no argument with the rest of your list.

I'm with you all the way, I think -- though those are cuts I'd LIKE to see, not necessarily the ones I expect.

Are my posts working yet

Kanorris Davis to practice squad.

Regarding Winn, I'm just speculating because some teams are hurting right now. Tampa Bay needs a back, and the Giants lost their #2 back last night with a broken leg, one he's broken before.

Even though he's a rookie, some team might well feel the need to make an offer.

That's what my thoughts are when I use the word "trade".
