Just read on eastcoastsports.com the latest rumor circulating about Randy Moss is that the Jacksonville Jaguars who have no intentions on keeping David Garrard may ship him out to Oakland as an immediate starting QB and adding a mid/low draft pick as well,In return,Oakland counters in trading Moss to the Jags.

This rumor I can see happening,A quality starting QB like Garrard who does not want to sit gets sent to Oakland who has no legitimate QB and has a discontented WR in Moss and they swap,Now Moss goes to a team who has no legitimate long ball threat and Oakland would have a veteran QB ready to go and that would free Oakland up to grab Calvin Johnson with the first pick and get another extra pick or two late on the second draft day rounds.

Best rumor to date and makes 100% sense..I can see this one happening.

This would make Oakland AND Jacksonville both stronger and would not weaken either team,Perfect trade scenerio,Garrard to Johnson and Leftwich to Moss both sound like lethal combos in the QB/WR positions.

If they have no interest in keeping Leftwich, why did Del Rio already name him the starter for next season?

Aha, makes a little more sense. Other than the fact that last season it seemed that they were ready to keep Gerrard as their starter and ship Leftwich out. I don't think even they know exactly what they're doing down there. :D

If you ask me to choose between one or the other I take Garrard hands down as the starter in Jax,David has more of an arm and is just as accurate as Byron is.-Neither is bad but I would give the edge to Garrard.

I wish I could think of a perfect trade for Moss to come to the Patriots and have him come here with no loss in strength for either team, but I can't right now :(

why in the heck, would you want moss to come to the pats??? we need a talented reciever. not someone who runs a straight line, and then jumps. he's a "me" player, and not worth the trouble. id rather have glenn back, then moss.

Corey was considered a 'me player' too ,Corey was also on a losing team too at the time that he came to the Patriots and turned his attitude right around...Its possible Randy can turn his attitude too if given a good team and less discontent of an organization...

Really,Is there more of a disfunctional NFL 'Family' like the Raiders? - I don't think so,Although Cincy is closing in.

ESPN claimed its to increase his trade value. By saying he's a bum and not starting or not saying anything at all, his trade value goes down..

Oakland is in position to draft the QB of their choice. If they trade for anything it will be OL.

Moss to Jacksonville makes some sense, Del Rio is on the hot seat and may take a chance. Plus Leftwich is a huck and chuck type of QB, he and Moss could play the sandlot style used with the Vikings "throw it high and deep and I will go get it"

There is no way that Garrard has "more of an arm" than Byron. No way at all. Byron can kneel at the 50 yard line and through the ball through the goal posts. I have seen him do it. Garrard can't do that whatsoever. The difference between the two seems to be in their ability to make sound decisions. Byron is in hot water.

I don't want him now. At the trade deadline last year I would have done it for a #3 hoping to strike lightning for the latter part of last year.

Now we have a free agency period and draft to take care of things. As Dillon showed after 2004, you are what you are.

good point.:D

No, Corey was disgruntled. That is not the same. He's still disgruntled, for that matter, but he isn't a "me" player. "Me" players don't suddenly become team players. Their brains are wired with different priorities. Do you recall the Bengals having a Corey Ratio?

Its possible Randy can turn his attitude too if given a good team and less discontent of an organization....
But he still cann't run a route.
