I Hope he's there at 24. Everything about him, including his life experiences, just jumps off the page at you. His skills are ideal to play in our defense, and he is a big athletic guy that would make a great replacement for Bruschi when he decides to hang 'em up. Will he be there? I sure hope so. . . . . .
The Buffalo Bills or the Kansas City Chiefs could be interested in Patrick Willis considering their starting middle linebackers are unrestricted free agents.

Very smart pick with Tim Shaw. Who looks amazing so far in what ive seen of him briefly.

Closest comparison by most scouts is that he plays like a Mike Vrabel.

Something we would love to have another of.
I don't think anyone expected Tim Shaw to put up those remarkable combine numbers this year at Indianapolis.

Please don't even try to compare Brian Leonard to Corey Dillon. In my opinion, too many posters on the PatsFans message board are too obsessed over drafting offensive players in the first day of the 2007 NFL Draft.

hm. hmm..ha. ha..

Me? Wanting offensive players?

Dude, I dont know how many times I've posted that "draft" starts with D.!

God, I miss the Tuna on draft day. Look who he picked.

I would have never guessed. He almost put up better numbers than his teammate Poz.

You must be referring to Lawrence Taylor and Carl Banks in the first round; Leonard Marshall and Pepper Johnson in the second round.

Check out what he did here Willie Mac, Slade, Tedy etc.

Better, yeah, but I dont think Willie or Tedy exactly sucked either!
Hopefully, this is the year of the linebacker for the New England Patriots in the 2007 NFL draft. If not now, then only God knows when.

Probably never in that case. But you cant say that considering if we go out and sign a few LB's in FA.

But who knows we're only devoted fans.

Personally, the Tuna's linebacker drafts were better with the Giants.

Yes but w/ the Pats IIRC he used the 5th pick of the draft. the 33rd, and a 4th rounder.

I'm just pointing out the value of selecting linebackers in the first day of the draft with regard to the Tuna, even way back with the NY Giants.

Amen, brother Tippet, Amen.
