None. He is not making so much salary that they could upgrade him in FA for equal price, their backups all suck, and in the 2nd year of a five year deal the signing bonus acceleration makes cutting him this early cost prohibitive.what are the chances the chiefs cut Ty law?

If on the off-chance they draft or somehow find some good young corners on their roster or in the draft, they can move Ty Law to safety, because Greg Wesley blows goats.
Kansas City has bigger turds to cut than Ty Law. Willie Roaf, Priest Holmes, Pat Surtain, Ryan Sims and Eric Hicks all come to mind. Trent Green clearly makes too much money as well. Kendrell Bell has been far worse for the money than Law, why not cut him?
i think its time for Law to make the move to safety it seems like he is gaining more and more weight each offseason and with his instincts he could become a great safety for at least a couple years:singing:
I meant in the context of dead salary. Both Priest Holmes and Willie Roaf count for many millions against the cap until they are moved onto the retired list.I don't think its nice to call Priest Holmes and Willie Roaf 'turds' do you?:bricks:
Both those 'turds' could be HOF material someday, especially Roaf.
If they cut any cornerback it should be Surtain. He's like the highest paid corner in the league and what the hell has he done in the past few years? Way to go Chiefs.
2006 Patriots + Ty Law = Super Bowl 41 Champs!
True, but you could say that about almost any healthy first- or second-stringer DB in the league.
Yes but Law in particular owns Manning.
You're right, no doubt about that. A 55 year old, 400 lb Law could probably get 2 picks off of Manning in a playoff game.
