Heard it on Sirius friday that the Bengals will be pushing for Daniel Graham since they really don't have a good enough TE to take pressure off their 3 excellent receivers and can also help in blocking for Carson whose OL has some improvements to do.

Sounds like a very reasonable possibility and maybe the best fit of any team out there, would not be surprised to see him in orange,I don't see the Pats keeping him with two other promising and solid TEs on this team.

The only problem is before he is signed,Daniel must commit armed robbery, arson,DUI or burglary ect: to be qualified for initiation into the Bengals Fraternity (The fraternity is nicknamed C.O.N.).

theyve needed a tight end for quite some time
would be a very nice fit there
would make me like the bengals even more

If Graham and Banta Cain leave, hopefully it's for a nice big offer to make the comp picks as good as possible. Graham would like that passing attack I would think.

I think its a very strong possibility if he is not signed here, and I don't think he will ..then he will be a happy camper in Cincinnati...Would make a great marriage, and if he goes there I wish him the best...except when we meet them later this year.;)

Its only a rumor but I could not see a better place for Dan to go,Cincinnati with some D help in FA or the draft may be a monster team in 2007.

I see Banta Cain staying here...From what I read and see,BB loves that guy and the fact that he kept this low draft choice around for several years shows that,Only the Jets may make it interesting in losing him to them, but I think we will keep TBC.

Marquise Hill...Thats a question I still can't answer why BB has him around....Maybe he is a good gatoraid delivery guy on the sidelines..other than that I can't explain it.

I would hate to see Dan go anywhere....I wish only the best for one of classy guy in the NFL....Whichever teams get his services will be well please...Just please to a team that we don't play, ofcourse until the SB:D :rocker:

who dey
who dey
who dey think gonna beat them bengals

yeah they def still need help on the defensive side of the ball
but honestly the two scariest offenses for the next handful of yrs will be new orleans and cincy

Yeah,TBC does suck against the run...thats his biggest problem.

As a pass rusher I think he is very good at pressure on the QB but playing against guys like Tomlinson who will have him for lunch is no good and if he is to stay or go anywhere he needs to improve dramatically on this issue..Thats the biggest weakness he has by far IMO.

I can see Cincy going after Graham for both on the field stuff AND off-the-field, locker room presence, "look at our new philosophy of high-character guys!"-type reasons.

If Cincinnati gets Graham then they have a pro bowl QB in Palmer,A Pro Bowl runner in Rudi,2 Pro Bowl-type WRs in Chad Johnson and Houshermomma and they also have Chris Henry who is very good if he gets those handcuffs off and then add Graham to that Mix for blocking and 3rd and short passes?

That would be the best offense since Dan Fouts wore Cleats....Downright frightening..I could see them averaging 28 points a game with that type of offense,Manning and Company would have huge challanges for best team in the O dept..

Good evaluation of the possible move...makes it seem all the better scenario if he goes there.

You might have a good point....

def
they hafta hope that pollack can come back and play football
and that ahmad brooks and jonathan joseph can step it up in their second yr
what they need are run stuffing dlinemen, and a safety to go alongside madieu (traded for corey) williams
isnt robaire smith available?

I really wish we'd go after that Dan Graham guy! He's the best blocking TE I've ever seen and when they send him out for passes he does a pretty good job too!

Since Fouts? The 2004 Colts offense was amazing.

Manning > Palmer
James > Johnson
Harrison > CJ
Wayne > TJ
Stokes = Henry
Clark = Graham

He didn't love him too much in the Colts game.

I bet he could grow to love some linebackers that could tackle and cover as well as rush.

Graham would also bring something that the Bengals are short on, CHARACTER, you know a guy who puts family and team before going out getting drunk and getting chased by cops. He will not embarass that franchise.

The Ohio Department of Corrections.

Good luck if you end up there, Daniel, and keep a clean nose.

I can see the fit from the Bengals' perspective, and if they are the ones to break the bank for him he'll probably go, but really, what is the appeal of Cincinnati for Graham? They've already got offensive weapons bursting out the wazoo, does he really stand to collect more passes than he does in a Pats uniform? Not to mention that team certainly wins a lot less than we do.

Also, if you, like Ellis Hobbs, think New England is a ****ty atmosphere, you probably won't like Cin-cin. That city seems to be a mustering ground for racists, and that Bengals locker room.... whew.

Denver seems like a much better fit for him. Shanahan has effectively showcased tight ends in the past, and is in need of one right now. It's also a team that values strong and athletic run blockers, and for Dan it'll be almost like going home. I really don't see how Cincinnati has the advantage in the Dan Graham sweepstakes.
