Nice wrapup of the AFC East, but this analysis of the Jets LB situation has me scratching my head:

Linebacker: You can never have too many talented linebackers in the 3-4 defensive scheme, but the Jets ranked near the bottom of the league in punt return efficiency. Look for the addition of a healthy body at linebacker, unless a difference maker can be acquired as a punt returner.

Don't have insider. can u post some text?

This is what happens when the only two thoughts in the writer's brain collide. ;)

I hate it when that happens...then again, he was writing about the Jets, perhaps it required more canned courage than his system could handle?

Is this a joke?

Are you saying he can't post copyright information? Maybe that's not what you're implying.

But, it's legal to post 10% of any article as long as critique it.

This is called Fair Use and it's part of the copyright law.

Is there a problem with reading comprehension on this list? This exchange is even funnier that the ESPN gaff. I'm not sure why you are quoting me. I'm not saying anything like that. I'm the guy that posted the link and the text.

1.) I post a link and pasted the text of the funny part

2.) Biglesowrth said he can't get the link and would i post the text.

3.) Since I already had, I asked if it was a joke

4.) You ask me why I imply Buigglesworth shouldn't post text.

Is there a full moon tonight?

Are you and bigglesworh the same guy?

No we are two different people. I went to the link and the title was "Patriots need to add weapons" or something of the sort. I was hoping more text could ahve been elaborated.

Who pays for Insider? That's like giving your money away
I went to Bristol CT with a trash bag containing 81,000 dollar bills and threw them on the stage where Sean Salisbury was stripping and Trey Wingo was doing a pole dance. Shelerth and Gonic showed up wearing only satin teddies and started picking up the bills. Sal Paolantonio and Ed Werder ran onto the stage in their underpants and started hitting people with whips made of licorice, and there was a big fight. You ought to get Insider.

BTW, you do realize now that I pasted the text in question in my first post, right? Most of the article was in depth and spot on, but someone confused LBs and punt returners. I only pasted the funny part. At least I thought it was funny, but I guess not.

yes I did see that afterwards. I honestly thought it was your signature. my fault i guess.

and BTW stay away from Harold Reynolds if you happen to see him in Bristol

A while back Ian asked us to stay away from posting espn insider stuff. It is no longer about what is legal, just in respect to what Ian asked. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Oh dear lord, I never knew you could be struck blind in conjunction with nausea! Now I'm glad I taught the cat to read and type.

An item of interest for all the cats posting to this board:

No, I just didn't think the text you posted was ironic or weird. I thought there was more to it and you were just giving us a teaser. I don't think that analysis is off the mark. Look at the linebackers we've had on the team who were expressly there for special teams, Izzo, Chatham, Davis, etc.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess some of the Pats fans are also wanna be lawyers and they assume this is the board to show their "non football" knowledge. Or maybe I'm justy being hard on the guy as he was just trying to help....maybe.. Anyway, the article was funny.

If you can get over your silliness for a moment, this thread contains

one important fact. You can never have too many good linebackers

in a 3-4 defense. Good linebackers who can be rotated to stay fresh

is what the Pats lack.
