For the first time Patriots All Access will be doing original programming year round. The plan is for the show to air once a month during the off-season.

The first off-season show is this Saturday night from 7-7:30 on WCVB Ch 5.

This week's show features a behind he scenes look at the Pro Bowl with Bill Belichick and his staff. The show had unlimited access to Belichick as he worked his squad out during the week. He was mic'd up for practice, meetings and the game, and you'll hear from Peyton Manning and LaDainian Tomlinson, among others on what it was like to work with Belichick. It promises to be a show worth catching.

Thanks for the heads-up.

:woohoo: About time to start something like that. The Sox have had that for years.

This will be awesome, and should have been done long ago is right.

How do we feel about offseason All Access?!!!

Awwwww-YEAH!!!

Never would have even thought about it. Thank you.

BB's already cracking me up at the Pro Bowl. A few players were standing around doing nothing at practice and BB offered them chairs:rofl:

what about when they asked him about the 19 pt lead lost, he must have been sick. and how about when he introduced the colts?

HHAAA awesome. BB introducing the Colts was along the lines of his post-loss press conferences.
Classic BB: In Hawaii with a few hours off, camera pans to BB watching college film and taking notes:rocker:
Manning was very complimentary-he said after working with Belichick he can definitely see why we have 3 Lombardis. They interviewed a couple of Ravens players who also were awed by his coaching and his personality.
BB accomplished a great deal at that Pro Bowl.

All Access was only 30 min and the next one's an entire month away! Next up though is FA and the draft. With the offseason we're having they could almost do this show weekly,or at least every other.
This is a GREAT idea!:rocker:

Actually what he said was "blew an 18 point lead - I will never get over that, never" - and then one of the said now you know how we feel and they all laughed.

Some other great lines - to Ed Reed "if I had you and those two corners that's all I'd ever need"...

And to Reggie Wayne, "that's the first time I've ever enjoyed one of those" (when he scored the TD)

And bonding with Polamalu "I just can't even imagine Pittsburgh without Bill Cowher, can't - even - imagine it" to which a dejected Troy says, "me either".

And I loved the line he gave them at the start of practice - how he knows it's the pro bowl and all but it's on national television and "I just don't want us to look like some remedial JV team out there". And at the end in the locker room his parting line to them "I think I could win with this team..."

They all seemed quite taken aback by his personality. Our players always say the Bill they know is not the ogre the media portrays. He works hard and is competitive and takes the actual game seriously even when it's an exhibition, but he has fun. And he loves being around dedicated football players.

Josh looked like he had a good week too. ;)

I really wish someone would tell Bob Kraft and Channel 5 that we could do this every week, or at least make the monthly one an hour long version like the regular season one.

I just emailed WCVB and asked if they could air it more often and/or extend it to an hour. Maybe if they get enough positive feedback they'll consider it. They're trying something new here, and trying it during Red Sox season besides so if the demand is there no doubt they just might do it.

Yeah. Of course they get a show weekly year round. But, we'll take what we can get. :rocker:

I agree one hundred per cent and would love to find a way to communicate this to the Patriots.

Not only would it be good to have more frequent editions of the show, but it would be great to make it available to viewers outside the region.

The show is made by the Patriots themselves so I see no reason why the programme shouldn't be streamed on the Patriots' web site after it has gone out on Channel 5. It's available for cable subscribers on Comcast on Demand. I'm sure the sponsors would be delighted to have more viewers.

The NFL is making a big deal out of trying to expand internationally (rightly so, if they want to attract major, global sponsors). Here is a way to reach international fans at minimal cost. Why not?

Is there a way of organizing an on-line petition or do we have to hope that Stacy James or someone similar from the Patriots is trawling the message board?
