Brusch is not 257...no

Can we stop looking at size so much? Reiss really likes Beason..BB was very interested in Vilma and Sims last few years. Sims is 5"11 225...Vilma is 6"1 230

why would we look at them when u realize size is below "standards in a 3-4" ?

BB said himself and u might be able to get me to find the link, he said a guy like Sims could of definatley had a spot inside.

he said the biggest thing about players is they have to work hard and have to love football

While weight may be an issue for some, most of these guys including willis can still hit hard, and will gain weight with an nfl lifting routine, lighter is sometimes better when they are looking for speed to cover te's and rb's which is just as important if not more important in our 3-4:singing:

Willis has proven himself at the collegiate level, playing for a team that is relatively deficient in the SEC, which is essentially the AAA league for the NFL. Yes, it is a highlight film, but it is also fairly indicative of his regular play. McFadden is seen as next year's Ginn Jr. etc. The exciting, all-world talent, whose speed is unmatched, etc. Willis's read, pursuit, and tackle on that play is textbook. The point is, left to his own devices he is capable of wrangling the speed of any established NFL player with similar attributes. That play is the most dissected, so I'll leave it at that.

ILB is a position sought after but rarely drafted early. Channing Crowder (another player that I believe will be in a Pats uni before too long) was a similarly regarded prospect that fell in the draft.

This draft will be very interesting. Perhaps Levi Brown will still be available. Which of the CBs will they take, if they're still there? If Willis is still available, the Pats would be remiss to defer.

He has game

Great. Anyone can put together a highlight reel of any player.

Would you "want to draft" some Division III RB just because you see a highlight video of him?
No but Patrick Willis did play in the toughest conference in college football.

No but Patrick Willis did play in the toughest conference in college football.

On top of that, he was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and also won the Butkis Award as college fooballs best LB.

He has speed....is a little undersized....but BB was interested in Vilma and, as much as I loath to say it because he is a Jet...Vilma would look good in a Patriot uniform.

I wouldn't be unhappy at all with him.

definatley sounds like a classy guy who respects players and coaches

that's a good thing.

Plus i heard he is related to Bruce Willis which can only increase his Value.

Willis has been top on my wish list since December. We know he can run and tackle but can he shed 300 pound guards?

Just an update. Size is not an issue with this guy. At the combine he came in a hair under 6'2 and weighted 242 pounds..
