For those afraid of another TE being drafted. This guys stock rose at the combine. Let's hope the Pats don't draft a TE in the first round.

yeah, I just watched it. He's not a blocking TE so BB won't draft him. I don't think we can't afford to have 3 hybrid TE.

NONETHELESS, you can thank Greg Olson, because he might as well moved us up one spot to 23 and 27. He was considered marginally a 1st, he should now be a top 15 to 20 pick.

that's exactly what i thought too.
Lets hope more guys like that run 4.4 40s so they jump up and better players fall to the pats.

I'm all for it.

4.83 for Zach Miller . . . not a very impressive time for him.

4.45 for greg

plus pro day which usually boosts even more.

sick

he said he was going for 4.5..he went under.

btw i know Greg and his family real well :)

There's a pretty good chance he goes ahead of us but that time plus the hands he showed at the ESPN thingy are making him look REALLY, REALLY good.

No chance, this guy can't block.

over-rated. JMO

I would rather have Harline from BYU

how about u learn a few things about a player before u say something about him? Hes actually a pretty good blocker..not like Graham but also not bad like Watson. Hes above average blocker.

-from a Miami fan..and from a guy whos seen Greg play since HS days.

Remix,

when did Miami have a good running game last year? They didn't. Vernon Davis had great speed at the combine and he wasn't too impressive this season.

Secondly his lateral movement isn't very good and he doesn't catch with his hands. He catches with his body too much. JMO

right..beacuse at the allstar competiton he only caught 29 balls in 30 seconds(dropped 0) and all were HANDS.

1. Miami didnt have a real good run game last year, correct

2. Davis had great speed ..correct again

3. Davis wasnt impressive..TOO EARLY TO DECIDE

^he broke his foot or something during the season and was used as a decoy a lot, he has Alex Smith throwing him the ball and theres no real threat at receiving after Bryant. He played 8 games, 9er fans saying hes been a decoy..showed a lot of talent. I wouldnt say he was unimpressive..

Hey if you judge NFL talent with contests then go ahead, but good ole chad jackson caught a bunch a balls too, but was having difficulties this year. He's over-rated because he went to Miami.

did Jackson show bad hands? i remember Mini camp the media raving about him making every catch..him and Thomas.

Your saying CJ caught a lot at the competition, yet he had difficulties this year..but how? His skill wasnt the difficulty..injuries and playbook were

Hes not overrated because hes from DA u...you realize who his QB was? The Rex Grossman of college football.

so you believe the beloved media in boston what they believe. we all know there is only one key contributor and that is Reiss. I would rather have a player that runs excellent routes than speed.

I just think the U is over-rated from a TE standpoint. Kellen Winslow? Olsen may have great straight on speed, bu I feel that he is going to have major difficulties and I don't see NE drafting him.

we already have greg olsen on our team his name is david thomas, but will anyone be surprised if BB tries to draft him not me:bricks:

did u see Kellen this year?
89 catches 875 yards...after basically 2 years off and on crutches...thats about 15 catches more than Gates and Gonzalez..hes about 25-75 yards behind them in yards but hes got the worst QB of all and worst team of them all

im not saying we will draft him but im just trying to be fair ..
