Ravens' TE Dennis Pitta out for year

Broncos crush them week 1. Double down your bets now.

While I liked Pitta and could see him in our offense, I must also be forthcoming with my belief that injuries could not have happened to a nicer team than the Classy Ravens.

Furthermore, is it me or is James Ihedibo an expert at injuring teammates? Didn't he knock out McCourty once?

At this point, both could be far worse teams than anyone expected at least week #1. The Broncos could be without Miller and their already poor o-line just got worse with the loss of Koppen. The Ravens have a whole new defense, a shakey o-line, and lost their two best receivers from their playoff run last year.

Yikes, what a terrible injury. Still think this team is tough and well coached. I think their defense will be better than last year.

I thought that was Sterling Moore.

BTW, let's hope Pitta's surgery was in time for him to avoid avascular necrosis. This type of injury has a high risk of that. Colvin avoided it. Bo Jackson didn't.

That's a shame, hard to not like Pitta. He's a helluva player. He'd be a beast in our offense. I wish him a quick recovery.

It might be the end for Pittadafool...at least for the NFL.

Avascular necrosis is often related to steroids…Bo Knew Roids.

If PittPatriot is referring to the in-game injury against the Jets on a primetime game in 2011, you are correct it was Moore.

strange as it may seem, but Pitta, who was taken the pick after hernandez, may never do as much as AH did

Sad to say, but hard to believe that anyone could be as naturally gifted as Bo appeared to be.

Ah - yes, it was that game. Thanks for clarifying.
Obviously marriage has not caused you the memory loss I suffer from!
