BB's Presser on Wednesday..

The Patriots have announced their schedule for the next week and on Wednesday, BB will have a press conference.. the day before the veterans report.

Suspect he will give all of his insight and knowledge of the AH case to give it closure prior to the opening of camp. If he does what is suspected, then it diverts the attention from the players who can say that the Coach already addressed the situation and hopefully mitigate some of the media circus...

If this is what he is doing, seems like a smart move so this team can move on and focus on the task at hand....

Glad that all of the local mediots who will have their opportunity to "grill" BB on what and when he knew about this, after all that crew seems to believe that BB owes them some sort of explanation.. so Borges, Felger and rest of the contrarians get your front seat now as the circus will only be in town for about an hour..

Hopefully this will be the end of this sideshow..

I don't expect him to speak at length — how much can he really say? — but I do expect him to acknowledge the situation. I think this is one case where sulky grunting won't do.

My expectation is he'll make a statement, reference what "Mr. Kraft" has said on the subject, then move onto football matters. And from that point on any questions on Hernandez will be dismissed with "I've already talked about that subject" and "we're focusing on the team and getting ready for the season." Even then, he does have to be careful with his words and his tone. My 2¢.

The police were good. They came prepared. They had a lot of evidence. We made too many mistakes.

BB uses tomorrow as a platform For AHern & Tebow Let Merdiots to ask any/everything pertaining to AHern & Tebow then when it concludes after Wed he will NEVER answer those questions for rest of this season.

Seriously doubt it unless kraft asks him to. There is also legal stuff , not that it will change bb in anyway. I suspect, he will release a printed statement before the presser just like 2007 after the taping game and ask all reporters who ask questions to refer to it everytime. "I have said everything I need to say".

Am I the only one surprised Hernandez didn't try to juke out the police when they came knockin? Dude probably could of made it pretty far before they would be able to bring him down.

I meant it wont linger in further press conferences or next week with repeated questions. Otherwise , whatever bb says or doesnt say it will always linger in the media as a -ve on the pats and more stories will be created/written regardless of what BB does unless he bends over and apologizes which is what the media wants.

True, bottom line is whatever BB says or doesn't say Mediots are gonna blow it up and make their own story line or ESPN & NFLN will just run a negative spin on it and of course usual suspects ( Mort, King) will be primed by producers to run with it Keep Throwin Fuel on fire. I say confront it answer it be done with it and give his usual "we're movin on with what we have just gettin ready for camp preseason & Buffalo Bills".

It isn't going to "linger on and on week after week." After the Buffalo game, no one will be asking about Aaron Hernandez.
