Good year? Pro bowl year?

I see him being a big part of the secondary. He is going to have to be IMO and i think he can fit those shoes. We saw some flashes early before he hurt his hip

The way things have gone recently, I know what I hope - namely, that he behaves himself and manages to stay healthy. The rest of it will take care of itself.

A Superbowl victory.

14 games with at least 12 playing at a pro bowl level. Will be interesting to see how he fairs against VJax, Jones/White, Green, Bey Bey, and Andre.

I expect health. This team is facing a lot of big, physical, athletic WR's this season with Dennard's availability and Dowling's health (as per usual) being in the air. The defense needs Talib to stay healthy. If he does, the rest should take care of itself.

Given that he is part of our secondary, I fully expect injury but hope for health.

I expect that when he's on the field he'll be an excellent cornerback. Meanwhile, I really really hope that he stays healthy.

With an offseason under his belt to really digest the playbook and get some rhythm with his fellow starters during the preseason, he could have a big year. Injuries are my biggest concern about him right now.

i feel if he can play a full 16 games..he can be something special this year...big IF though

I had completely forgotten that in week three Talib will be facing the team that drafted, that he played with for 4 1/2 years, and that eventually couldn't wait to trade him away. That makes what should be a good game that much more interesting.

Also add to that if Blount sticks on the team...BB could use him.

Three things come to mind when I think about Talib,

First thing that comes to mind is short leash. He is a player that could potentially be cut for jaywalking.

Second thing that comes to mind is work ethic and conditioning, I've read many posts about injuries but the majority of his injuries seem to be indicative of poor conditioning (strains, pulls).

Third thing that comes to mind is top 5 CB. He is extremely talented, has the size and athleticism, and most importantly has the mental makeup required to matchup against the best WR's without backing down or playing scared. IF and it's a big IF he can put all it together he could easily end the season in that class of CB right below Revis and Sherman.

Considering Talibs has never played a full season (due to injury or disciplne) I see about 10-11 games 3 or 4 picks...good but not great...this team needs him to be great and if he stays on the field and plays like he did before he got hurt vs bal he will be great

If his work ethic was an issue..pats wouldn't have brought him back

0 arrests, please.:)

Contract year - stakes are very high. Time for Talib to put up or shut up.

I expect him to have the mindset to wiiin.

... how about we turn that 16 into a 19?!? why sell ourselves short  ?!?!
