The Onion strikes again!

If cliche and disrespect tickle your fancy, I guess. For me, this works better...

That's got to be the most ridiculous "new story" that I have ever read. How do people get away with writing that garbage?? I'm far from religious, but this is pretty extreme.

It's called satire. :)

Everyone in this thread needs to lighten up. I think it's funny, and while humor is subjective, if you don't think it's funny you don't need to attack people who do think it's funny.

And vice versa?

Holy ****. That's the first still image I've seen of the buttfumble and its better than the gif.

when I want accurate ,unbiased, up to the minute reporting I ALWAYS seek out the Onion first....

Nothing like The Onion to stir up the uptight and easily offended.

I'm not just posting about The Onion in fact....I'm president of the Onion. Yeah, that's the ticket.

And vice versa?

Yes, but I believe there will be no one who thinks this id funny who will MAKE someone laugh at it. I could be mistaken - maybe Joker has the "Clockwork Orange" set of eyelid openers and really want to get some use out of them.

BTW, did he ever tell you how he got his smile?

BB is god and punks Tebow. I have a huge sense of humor and this is just pathetic by the onion. Even if i ignore the religion angle it still isn't funny at all. Lazy writing.

Peyton Manning dies and goes to heaven, and when he gets there St. Peter puts his arm around him and tells him, "Peyton, you have had a wonderful life, and your football play has brought joy to many people, so we are going to reward you by giving you a house to live in here in heaven."

And then St. Peter points to his left, and there is a magnificant house, emblazoned with the Colts logo and Peyton's number 18. Peyton is very joyful and grateful until he notices an even bigger and more resplendent house that it is covered with Pariots logos, enclosed by an ornate wall made of rare and beautiful marble, and decorated with intricate carvings of Pat Patriot and the Flying Elvis with a huge gate over which is an arch inscribed with a giant number 12.

Peyton turns to St. Peter and says, "I don't mean to sound ungrateful, and the house you have given me is certainly very beautiful, but why is Tom Brady's house so much bigger and better than mine?"

St. Peter replies, "That's not Tom Brady's house. It's God's house!"

For crissakes (oops!), it's meant to be funny...and it is!

I don't care who y'are, that's funny right thar! :D :rocker:
OP said it was universally funny and I disagree. I'm not offended and I'm not uptight. I simply don't think it's funny.

I don't have any problem with the content of the piece, it's just not that funny to me.

Now this was funny.
